Lately, it seems as if fics have been getting better. Styles are coming up and subject matter, however gloomy or nostalgic, is becoming more interesting. I feel slightly apprehensive; like the whole of the world of fanfiction is about to be rocked, and I wonder if we're really helping something, writing like we are. But, for all my paranoia, this was, indeed, a lovely fic. Remus, as he is wont, is naturally depressive, and Snape goes on the offence like the mother figure he can be, even if the idea of him turning Harry overthe cauldron makes me gag. Sirius, much as he was mentioned, played an outsider to the story: a figment of Remus's past, and when the pouf mentioned him as a lover at the end, I was in kind to sigh, because they are so irresistably canon. Looking as I was for something involving the two teachers, I'm glad I stumbled upon this, for however vague I sound in complimenting you, I really do mean to. This was very enjoyable. I just need some time to think, now.

You have created something dark and desperate and powerful. Rejected by society and suffering loss after loss, losing Sirius a second time was just too much for Remus Lupin. I can see it happening. Well done.
