Cal reflector chapter 2 . 2/25/2006 "If I could go anywhere... then I'd go to Cosmo Canyon. What? Why? Because someone once told me that the stars are really pretty there." Beautiful! |
Nando the RPS King chapter 4 . 7/18/2005 Wow. |
Izzia chapter 4 . 6/6/2005 Loved it, so moving! love your style of writing! |
Kiyenna chapter 4 . 4/1/2005 Wow, I really like this fic *alot*. It's beautiful...so beautiful. |
The Highwaywoman chapter 4 . 2/26/2005 It must've been fun to write the story almost entirely in dialogue. Sometimes it just kinda flows out easily. Anyway, I loved this... I really don't like Hemingway's story topics because of his anti-female moments, but I do enjoy his style of writing, and this reminds me of it! So subtle and quite lovely... I've never read a RenoXElena fic like this before. Beautiful job. |
Ducky in Spandex chapter 4 . 2/5/2005 Oh my God, that was so beautiful...so, so beautiful...I love the last chapter the best. A wonderful ending. I love this so much. I'm speechless, quite frankly... |
seventhe chapter 4 . 1/12/2005 what a beautiful piece. i totally understand about the one-shots taking over your life and becoming multichaptered intricate behemoths, or at least behemoth babies. and i'm so glad you went on with this one because it's such an intimate, crystalline little look at these two. i loved the imagery, not only of the water, but of the cold-warm juxtaposition. everyone's afraid of the cold - but we're always afraid of fire, too. wonderful. |
drakonlily chapter 4 . 1/1/2005 "Tseng once told me it’s something in the eyes." I LOVE this. LOVE, usually when I read something I try to pick out something that I loved and something that needs some work, but damnit if there's too much to love and too little to work on. It's rare to see a Reno that cared about his parents, and I love the addition of a water phobia. just wonderful work. |
Jess Angel chapter 4 . 12/30/2004 And so he swears to never let go. Wonderful, TP. "Teardrops" certainly does tug at you - in all the right ways, too. It's beautifully dark, but hope isn't completely out of picture, because in the end, in a quiet, lovely way, it wins. The beginning of "Teardrops" really was entrancing, and from there, it just continued to build, you just had to read on. I certainly had to. {wink} Marvelous. Jess 0:o) |
Jess Angel chapter 3 . 12/30/2004 Oh geez, those last two lines made me want to cry. Bravo. Lovely, lovely stuff. Such an image, fading into someone's arms. Thought it was powerful how you had Elena slip and voice her fear... Thanks for the mention! Jess 0:o) |
Jess Angel chapter 2 . 12/30/2004 "Don’t." "Don’t what?" "Don’t do that." "Why?" "Because you’ll regret it." "Do you think so?" The subtle warning, foreshadowing, in that is... It just hits the spot. All-around, great dialogue, and the back and forth between the flashbacks worked well, too. Loved the move into Elena's perspective, sad and moving. Yet the end this chapter was particularly sweet - a little light with the dark - and I liked that. Jess 0:o) |
