I can understand why that song would have engendered this story. You did a good job matching theme and spirit. Still, having Rage come out like that ... I dunno. I don't really see it. Maybe I've just read too many stories where Raven triumphed over Rage, or managed to incorporate her more fully.

(Of course, now that I think about it, I wrote a story where Rage won ... sort of ... well, Raven lost, you could put it that way.)

Now it looks like I'll have to read "Jump City Cantata".

good story line, i liked it. one thing robin's real name is richard grayson and when he becomes nightwing the new robin is tim drake. keep going on the good stories

Mmhmm...nice oneshot. Songfics are so much better when the song is playing while you read...so, I downloaded the song before I read. Made it at least 10x more better.

Too bad she died though. Also, you used Tim instead of Dick for this one? Hm.

The preview had less aplomb when you've read everything at least 3 times now. Haha.

love how you made Robin 'Tim Drake' instead of the usual Dick Grayson we all use. It was sad... anyway, I have a request and I'm going to start the spin-offs soon. The request is if you could please write a raven/red x chapter in your sequel or make a oneshot. I have the perfect image of Red X stealing a kiss from Raven on the roof, and Janice seeing. Then confronting Raven:'who was he, Cassie? You're going to hurt Speedy like that if you're going off kissing someone else!' when secretly she's hurting inside... or if you don't want I could write it as a spin-off. I have so many ideas in my head!

NICE Dark fic! Really nice little musing into what makes Raven tick... and not, as the case may be. You captured her spirit nicely, adding some melancholy... if ever you wanted to dig really deeply into her character, I think you could find a lot to mess around with. That could be interesting... and the bit with Robin was nice :). I'll forgive you for killing her... lol heck, I'm always off to kill someone. Tempting, isn't it? But it worked... and Red X? *dies* lol can't wait to read it... OH! *RIGHT* after I posted my review for Cantata, I noticed that someone died! I can't wait to read the next chapter!
