siio chapter 7 . 2/25/2015 I will listen to you and stick this in my follow list and hope you find the time and/or motivation to write a new chapter. Really hoping you will. |
Aryanwen chapter 7 . 12/4/2012 Crap. I got to the end of the available chapters. T_T It's so hard to find someone who does a good job with Link's and Zelda's personalities and characterizes them in a way that rings true to me. This story and it's prequel have done an amazing job of it so far. You have given us all sufficient warning about waiting for updates, but all the same, I'm CRAVING more of this story! I hope you are struck by a lightning bolt of inspiration for this sometime in the near future. Excellent story, excellent writing. I will try to be patient for more! |
GroveWolf chapter 7 . 6/19/2012 its a good story so far, i didn't realize that she was dreaming the scenes of alternate reality. considering link's termina adventure shouldn't take him but a few days in real time. he should've been back within a week. why have months passed? and i can't sit around for eight years to read this, i saw that, 2004 to 2012 and february. February! that's far to long to wait. please, devote an hour everyday or something. just get it out there. |
GroveWolf chapter 1 . 6/19/2012 i read the finale, that was incredible, that was great writing. there isn't anything else in that particular series besides that and this story are there? i guess after the length of Finale, the first chapter of overture was comparatively short. but its a good start. |
enim3 chapter 7 . 2/11/2012 No questions here, just effusive praise! I saw this story updated and couldn't quite remember the context - just saw "Nendil" and remembered that I really loved your writing but couldn't remember the details. I skimmed the previous chapters and it all came rushing back - a great feeling of nostalgia. This chapter didn't miss a beat, and the flow was wonderful - no evidence of any break between chapters at all. Definitely a nice surprise. |
Aki no hikari chapter 6 . 1/7/2012 I enjoyed this fic very much so far, please don't abandon it, it is very difficult to find well written Zelink. If you really can't write anymore then you should maybe put an author note letting us know. |
phunky chapter 2 . 7/21/2011 I was smiling while reading this chapter the entire time. |
phunky chapter 1 . 7/21/2011 *giggles* Adorable is the word to describe this chapter. Just adorable :) |
Hidari chapter 1 . 6/17/2011 I am so enjoying this. I know you haven't updated in a while but I have to point out something. If HE remembers and she doesn't, that kind of defeats one of the purposes of sending him back. He can't ever have an untainted childhood of he remembers what he has done. |
Greg chapter 6 . 9/18/2010 After reading the first Destiny's Opus, I'd like to start by saying I really like your writing. Ok so anyway... Yeah, you were right, chapter 6 was confusing. If you're going to play around with time lapses I'd imagine you already have the whole plot thought out. (Perhaps in a picture, haha) In which case it would be redundant to bring up the following, but it kind of hurts to not mention these... Shouldn't Impa, Darunia, Nabooru and the other sages have remained in the sacred realm after time was turned back just as Ganondorf had in the first 5 chapters? If Link retained any memory from the 'first time around', shouldn't Zelda retain just as much, if not more, seeing as she is the 'seventh sage'? Anywho, I like that the character are fairly true to canon as well as the story progression, although I look forward to how you're going to fit Twilight Princess into this. I'm also curious as to whether you'll be writing from Link's perspective during this period... As far as detail goes, I really liked the way you did the ancient Shiekah scriptures thing, awesome dramatic irony at the end. I do think it's a bit of a waste not to emphasize the landscape of Hyrule, though, but I guess that would just make the story even longer, but I remember that one of the defining moments in the game, for me, was the first time you leave the forest and see Hyrule fields, and I'm sure many other people feel the same way. All in all I think it's a good story, and it's torture to wait for another update. |
Hidari chapter 6 . 6/21/2010 I thought in this timeline Ganon had been sealed. Anyway, still liked it although the last chapter seemed out of synch. Hope you don't abandon this. |
jacy85 chapter 1 . 2/22/2010 I really like this. I read your stories after coming across your most recent piece, En Passant, which was just lovely. There is a lot of poorly written fic out there, but yours isn't among them. You are a wonderful writer, your dialogue flows well and is believable, and I hope you add more to Overture! |
ForeverWanderer chapter 1 . 2/14/2010 ugh! Your writing is so GOOD! (I'm sorry I can't read your most recent fic- I haven't played Spirit Tracks yet and I want to avoid spoilers! That's okay, maybe you'll update this one again sometime soon...) |
rndomfan chapter 5 . 12/1/2009 Amazing story, I love it! Very well written, doesn't feel like a fanfiction at all but a book or something and I have enjoyed every chapter inmensely. Hope you update soon - because I can't wait! |
Split Infinitive chapter 4 . 11/23/2009 Had to read the whole story again to remind myself where we were (no bad thing in itself)... I like your characterization; everyone from Darunia to Impa to little Zelda come across as very distinct and individual. Zelda, in particular, seems suitably childlike and innocent here (though less formal than in previous chapters). You capture her wide-eyed wonder of the Gorons well. Well, nice to see an update anyway! Still wondering where we're going plotwise, though. Have a feeling we won't find out for a long time yet! |
