First of all, this is NOT the EIGHTEENTH century, it is the NINETEENTH century. When you speak of a century it always refers to the hundred years before that. For instance, when you say the Nineteenth century, you are referring to the years of the 1800's, in which this takes place.

Secondly, no railroads during this time? Are you denying that there was never a ceremony in which a golden spike was driven into the tracks to commemorate the joining of the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads to form the FAMOUS TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILROAD in May 10th, 1869?

Finally, it is pertinent to mention that the FIRST railroads were built in ENGLAND and parts of EUROPE in the 1820's. Soon after, America was quick to take up the invention.

So, in conclusion, perhaps you should review your HISTORY before you review anything else only to put your foot in your mouth and state that railroads were not present in this era.

I forgot to mention that cabs, cars, trains or motorbikes were not present in the eighteenth century.

I don't understand. You say Ashian was from Van Helsing's childhood but she lives in the eighteenth century. Van Helsing lived four centuries ago and is still alive and kicking.

ok, it was probably good that dracula wasb't her dad. but i still think that you should have cut her up in itty-bitty pieces and then let her crawl back together. and yes you should write a sequel. if you don't and write more x-men, i will be very mad. SEQUEL! and also i want to read your novel. you must have gotten it back by now.

I love the dialogue in this... very sharp... and, er, the beating-with-a-pillow... :) Actually I think just being around Carl for long is quite like being beaten with a pillow. It strikes me that way.
