"I think I just ran into Legolas' father." Eomer shuddered dramatically. "He could freeze boiling water."

Now I’m officially dying of laughter someone GET HELP

Faramir laughed. "It is probably because he has been waiting for Legolas all morning. Legolas must have forgotten with the arrival of his father. I am afraid the elf is in for an earful when Gimli catches him."

Aragorn did a double take. "Gimli was headed for the bedrooms."

Faramir frowned. "So?"

"Thranduil's there!" Aragorn turned racing after his dwarven friend.

"What's that got to do with anything?" Faramir yelled after the swiftly retreating figure.

Aragorn rounded the corner to see Gimli bursting through Legolas' door.

"Why you pointy eared elvish bastard!" Gimli roared.

Aragorn skidded to a stop seeing Thranduil stand up from the couch. He put his hands over his ears waiting for the imminent explosion.

Oh, wow... this is a very sweet, very funny and very heart-warming fic! I laughed close to tears as Eomer, Aragorn, Faramir and Gimli were... highly respectful of Thranduil! To the point of tears! Jeez, he can be intimidating, but I love his subtle humor and the way he was so gentle and loving with Legolas, the courteous way he was with Eowyn and the way he was so patient with the Pippin, Merry, Frodo and Sam! I just loved how this fic focused on the relationships between these friends and warriors and family and their interactions with Thranduil. It was a refreshing read! Hope that sentence makes sense.

This was the most touching, heartwarming work I have read in quite a while. It was much needed and I am ever thankful for stumbling upon it as I have, for it put a smile upon my lips and brought joy to my soul. I had never thought to wonder how Thranduil could so frighten others and always leant more towards awe than feat, so as to match my own sentiments towards him. I loved your take on the characters, how you could turn such a simple thing into such a blessed little story.

Such a fun and entertaining read, I very much enjoyed it. Thank you for the time and patience you undoubtedly poured into this, it was well thought and well received, and I believe a review is very much well deserved.

This was a good story and a bit amusing. I like how you had Thranduil interact with Legolas's friends in Minas Tirith.
