| cmar chapter 3 . 8/23/2005 I liked this a lot. It's a nice, sweet, short, very romantic story. Just as much as the romance, I liked the treatment of the individual characters - Tori at the beach ('It was like checking out her kingdom before leaving.' - great phrase), Hunter thinking about shades of grey, the conversations, every scene, really. The romantic part was handled well and thoughtfully, and kept both in character, very important in slash. I liked the uncertainties and hesitation, and the ending with them going off to the track (strikes me as just what they would do) and being observed only from afar. It was different and effective. I hope you'll do more stories like this! |
