Oh my goodness, oh my god. How could I have missed this during my search for DM/DMG! This was just... MAGNIFICENCE. While I was reading this, I couldn't help but feel a melancholic air hanging about this one-shot despite the fact that it was mostly humor but perhaps it was partially attributed to the fact that we all knew what happens to them later and two parts due to Seth slapping it in our faces. I was masochistic enough to look forward to your write-up of the fall of the kingdom near the end (well, if memory serves me correctly.. if not, then ignore what I just said). But I guess a somewhat happy ending is not a bad trade off either, heh.

You captured Mana's exuberance and mischievous nature perfectly. Even Seth was funny in his own way... (at his own expense). That somber message he left her with was chilling indeed. It was interesting to see how Mana is more perceptive than she lets on - the fact that she could tell Mahaado must have been thinking about this for a long time just from his gestures alone? Impressive. I didn't interpret it that way but it's not like I had to be convinced of his wishes. His gentleness and martyr ways ... combined with such a diverse cast, this easily could have been a longer story with a lot of heartache (not necessarily due to the drama of the two's romance but what they all have to sacrifice in the end). This was beautiful and it's a sad day to see that it seems you won't be returning here anymore but regardless, I thank you for writing this and sharing it with us. One cannot complain about a completed piece.

Ooh, you write Seth as an excellent almost-antagonist. As a matter of fact, you write this very well, although I can't be sure how, I'm just kinda swept u in it all if you can't already tell from this review. I like the part where Seth tips her hat down. What a fascinating character.

So Atemu is physically attractive to Mana, but Mahaado is attractive on a deeper, more spiritual level...Wow. oh wait nm. Nice transition. aaaaa the resolutionnn

This is by far one of (if not the) best Mahaado/Mana fic ever. I loved everything about it especially the way it explored the relationships between both Atemu and the two. Although about halfway I found myself fearing that Mana would continue with her infactuation with Atemu, and the fangirl in me was smacking my head on a desk in despair. You managed to capture her slow transition in feelings from Atemu to Mahaado very well.

Oh and Mahaado's relationship with Atemu was splendid as well. Their friendship is always something I've enjoyed especially with Mahaado's loyalty to Atemu. And I found it dear that Atem so obviously treasures Mahaado enough to step back in his 'pursuit' of Mana.

Seth's part was funny as well. I mean, him of all people, making Mana realize her true feelings. He's so observant.

Amazing one-shot once again! Your way of storytelling is very brilliant and enjoyable.
