This is the most well written piece concerning Kagome/Inuyasha being intimate. I think it's very much in line with their characters portrayed in the series.

I liked this. I agree it's a more realistic first for them. Inuyasha wouldn't have much idea of what to actually do. And some of the 'going into heat' stories seem to get menstration and ovulation mixed up.

this was wonderful one-shot and beautifully written! In canon, I never thought that InuYasha and Kagome would do it in the heat of the moment but much more like this, unsure what to do but still trusting each others :)

Wow... I don't know why this fic has so few comments. It's been a favorite of mine for many years. I practically jumped up and down the first time I saw this story and discovered that there is such a thing as good fanfiction. I'll be back soon for a re-read.

Wow. That was real and thats all that has to be said to sum it up. I mean really I loved the way you potrayed inuyasha and kagome as a couple n this story. I'm sure thats how most couples must be when they fist get married. But it was just the raw emotion that was shown throgh the writing that really got me. It was one of thw best one-shots i have ever read.

I'm kind of torn about the premise of this story. On the one hand, I whole-heartedly agree that Inuyasha is inexperienced, and sympathize with you in regards to annoyance with all those authors who paint him as an god among experts on the subject. On the other hand, I don't think he's half as reserved as others (including yourself) seem to. The anime plays it down, but there are quite a few moments in the manga where he is definitely thinking along the lines of the stereotypical teenage male. My understanding of his psychology led me to believe that a lot of his aggressiveness was part misplaced sexual frustration, and, to be frank, I just like the idea of that more. This is a perfectly reasonable and believable plot though, and I do thank you for that.

The rhetoric was quite enjoyable as well. 'Tis too rare to find anyone who uses let alone knows the meaning of the word: 'cogently.'The pacing of the fic in general was very nice too.

Just WOW. I wish all our "first time" experiences could be like that. I was stupid, impatient and irrational. I lost it to a man I did not love. I wasn't married. Shame on me. I hate the thought. Maybe the man I will one day love and marry, will forgive my impatience.

Beautifully written. I agree with your take on Inuyasha's sexuality. Despite his tough guy exterior he still remains innocent, to my way of thinking.
