Beautifully written Fuffy story with great character portrayals of Buffy and Faith. As frustrated as I was, initially, with Buffy's actions towards Faith, she redeems herself. And her actions make sense in terms of their past and what she was going through. Again awesome story!

This was a really great fic! The perfect blend of angst, romance and humor. Best one I've read so far. A lot of others come off kinda fake, but I found the relationship you built totally fit inside the actual story arc. The whole Faith being the only one able to understand what buffy was going through, really rang true for me, especially the way faith had to earn everyone's trust. Great job :D

Even with the abrupt ending, I thoroughly enjoyed your story. I do find it hard to believe that Willow would be so accepting of their relationship so quickly, but other then that I feel it was pitch perfect. A much better S6 then the one we actuall got. Thanks for that. :)

A Season 6 AU Buffy/Faith story from Buffy's point of view. It's fairly unusual in that it's a lot more sympathetic to Buffy than to Faith, and it's set in a first person viewpoint. The writing is pretty good throughout although there are some small errors (e.g. you want 'empathize', not 'emphasize').

The story is fairly short and there's little to no mention of monsters or apocalypses. The emphasis is on the characters' relationships, which develops realistically without too much reliance on the "I was in love with you all along" or the "this is the my true love" tropes. The story is definitely worth a read.
