This isn't really a review. I'm still reading this, but just wanted to say I always thought if Anakin was to be trained successfully, both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had to live. I never could believe that Qui-Gon could move on as before if Obi-Wan had fallen to the Sith, and of course, with Qui-Gon's death, I'm certain a part of Obi-Wan died. It was those two as a team that lent each other amazing strength and resilience, and so the same could not really be achieved with Anakin. Good to see a fic addressing possible problems with Qui-Gon training Anakin, because I'm sure Anakin isn't as forgiving or observant to subtleties as Obi-Wan. Would be a case of the blind leading the blind.

Please do a Sequel Where there Sacrifice Is worth it Your story is so moving that I cannot bear the thought of them staying in that much pain . Well done :-)

While not being what I expected, this fic is verry good. Your descriptions paint pictures, and the story is heartfelt. Throughout reading this a melancholy feel lies within, reminding you that happy endings are part of fairy tales, and fairy tales don't always come true.

This story is one of the biggest tearjerkers I've ever read! I cried from beginning to end. I love stories that have Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan as the headliners (main characters). Keep up the good work!

I finally finished reading! I'm sorry it took me so long, but my show opened this weekend and I've been so busy. I really enjoyed this story, it was very touching here at the end but also sad in a way. So Obi Wan never recovers? Poor baby...Great job!
