Reviews for Thirty
r chapter 1 . 7/28
Your stories are always insightful and contain so much wisdom. They helped me a lot during school and also taught me far more than school ever could.

I hope you return to this site one day.

bubblysage chapter 7 . 2/26/2011
Hi,

This is actually the first time that I'm going to comment an author on their work. It goes without saying that I find your piece absolutely fantastic.

I recently fell in-love with Prince of Tennis and the Perfect Pair is my favorite.

I hope you continue writing stories, whether for POT or for others. You have an amazing gift and it's such a joy to be able to benefit from it.

:)
xSakuraBlossom chapter 7 . 4/3/2010
Yay! They're together now!

Ryoma... he definitely grew up, and yet managed to keep some of his old self. I love how you were able to portray the characters' maturity without making them OOC. It's a talent that I truly envy.

You're an incredible writer. I love all your work.

Keep writing~
Khelek-sul Renai chapter 7 . 12/22/2008
Again, I highly enjoyed this... And I bet reviews on and comments on your livejournal can tell exactly why this was so wonderful better than I ever can. Tezuka and Fuji finally trying to come together; the wording of the last line (I love it when stories end like that) So...

Well Written, And great read.
MysteriousEyez chapter 7 . 12/17/2008
Loved, Loved, LOVED the story. Although I have to admit it did make me kinda sad to read...some of the points kinda hit home . In 5 years time I'l be 30 T-T and I'm gonna be like Tezuka Im going down kicking and screaming amnd fighting every bit of yet but I guess accepting at the same time ( lol! Great story made me reflect a bit..didn't expect to do that while reading a story, but I guess the good ones always make you ponder a bit on you own experiences and relationships etc.

serenitatis417 chapter 7 . 11/18/2007
That was written really well. You've portrayed them quite accurately.

I guess this is the 'everything is starting to sort out' chapter? Well, I hope things get better from now on.

The TezuFuji moments in this chapter were really sweet. I really liked it.

Good job with the chapter! Update soon please! :]
TeNsHi No ToIkI chapter 7 . 11/16/2007

vierblith chapter 7 . 11/16/2007
You actually updated!

Atobe X Atobe is OTP!(But... Oshitari X Atobe is OTP,too!)

I find myself scared if Tezuka doesn't have a

"Probably not. But we can try, and try again."

Yes. That's the spirit! One day, even if Fate didn't want them together(which I doubt), if they're too persistent, even Fate will bend._

I'm looking forward to the lunch date!
TeNsHi No ToIkI chapter 6 . 10/24/2007

beanstalk1019 chapter 6 . 10/5/2007
I guess it's finally time for me to leave a review. I've been working through several of your stories lately, but I guess I've been to lazy to leave a proper response to them.

Your style of writing itself is very good. It's nice to read something that moves the story along well and has a natural progression that you don't even have to think about as you read. I think it's one of the most important things for an author to have.

I do think you have a bit of a bitter outlook on some things in life. At least that's the impression I get from all your stories. They all seem to have the same mood to them. There's a lot of manipulation and unfulfillment involved. I don't think unfulfillment is a word, but because it makes perfect sense to me, I deny this stupid computer check-thingy. Anyway, you do tend to end the stories with a happy hope for the future, so that satisfies me. I know you have no need to please the unique philosophical tastes of each reader, so it doesn't really matter. I'm just commenting. Maybe you don't have a pessimistic outlook on life. People can tend to have different personalities when they write.

I just don't view Ryoma and Fuji the way I keep seeing them written in so many stories. There is nothing in the tv series that ever led me to believe that Fuji was maliciously manipulative or cruel in any way. He did protect his younger brother when necessary, but I saw his personality as closer to Eiji's than anything else. When he's serious, it's not evil, just determined.

Ryoma can be a tiny bit self-centered, but not in that way I think. He cares more than he lets on as can be seen many times. He plays the hero many times, but just doesn't like taking the credit for it. In all other matters, he's not mean. He's extremely oblivious instead. He doesn't act oblivious to girls, he is oblivious to girls. His relationship with his father is fairly benevolent too. His father would never be content if Ryoma didn't end up with a love of tennis and not just a desire to beat one man. And I don't think he would be at a complete loss to guiding Ryoma if Ryoma finally beat him in tennis.

I guess that's a bit of a rant, though there's no venom behind any of it. I just enjoy analyzing characters and so many of the characterizations I've read on this site are rather dark. I see Fuji as ultimately a kind, gentle person willing to give people subtle pushes in the right direction, not as a manipulative mastermind who will be ruthless to those not in his circle of protection. I see Ryoma as a slightly absent-minded and stubborn boy who doesn't like stupidity, but also doesn't like the trappings of the spotlight. He loves tennis and doesn't feel like he needs to worry about the excesses of life. That's just the way it is for him. And there I go analyzing again.

I'm sorry for taking up so much space if you bothered to read down this far. I just wanted to properly show my appreciation for you putting your work out there. I thoroughly enjoyed it and you've contributed to my endless procrastination in college.

Happy Writing.
xabie chapter 4 . 8/31/2007
This is an amazingly realistic portrayal of the Seigaku team... it's so well done. I hope that you'll continue writing this, but if you have abandoned it, then thank you for writing such a wonderfully sober work in the PoT fandom.

Very nicely done.
