I just wanted to say that I appreciate your choice in having Han still relatively compos mentis here and not drunk in an alley somewhere on the Outer Rim, neglecting his kids and trying to die. He's still present and doing the right thing, albeit perhaps just going through the motions at the moment.

Different twist on Leia being dead...most have Han just a total disaster but you have him hanging in there and still being a good guy (and uncle).

This works really well - the build toward the ending, Han's grief, Ben's inquisitiveness and insight. Han just seems so - lost, without Leia. It's almost hard to picture those two apart.

Wow. That's... amazing. Kinda depressing, really- both the story and the fact that people with that much talent exist. Anyway, it's a fabulous piece, with a near-perfect Han voice. Not something you see too often. _ Great story!
