Another example of pure brilliance. The scene where the actuators are being shut off one by one was absolutely heartrending- I was almost crying.

I must say, one of my favorite things about your writing is your descriptions of sounds. You're the only person I know of who would include little things like the mouse clicking as someone closes a document. It's a wonderful little detail that puts me right into the scene- awesome.

I loved that rubber band metaphore. It really gave me a strong mental picture of Otto. I didn't realize this thing was here for quite a while and when I did you already had a lot done, so I'm pretty behind. But I shall finish it...Eventually!

Awesome. I don't know how good I'd be with making someone seem a little off key if you know what I mean. You and LadyKayoss seem to have a talent for it though.

Just read chapter 13 andi just want to say that yes, that unlucky number always seems... well... to be just that. Unlucky. I wanted to point somthing out that I noticed too. It seems that Mereii Has some kind of past relationship with Otto. He has to or else why would he hate him so much? I mean I can understand a sort of dislike for general reasons but Otto had to've killed one of his family members or somthing because... it just seems to have reason to it almost. I dont know just wanted to get that off my shoulders _

Ack! Are you stuck? Do you need ideas? I'm looking at this fic, this wonderful thing, and I'm thinking, where is the rest? Yeah, okay I have nothing to complain about. Everything *I* ever write ends up being unfinished. But... but poor Otto... aw... don't leave him so confused.

Hello, again! Don't ask me why it's taken- how long? a month? two?- WAY too f-ing long for me to chime in on the excellent sequel to what I have recently decided is the best fanfic I've ever read. I guess I was too busy rereading said slice of literary Heaven for like the fifth time. No joke, I printed it out (took the better part of an hour and a half, sheesh), and I just got it its own spiffy poly binder with that little clear envelope in the front so the cover you drew can be proudly displayed to the admiration of all.

Yes, I've managed to stumble my way onto your deviantart account and check out your stuff. So this is sort of a joint review for 1: "Mindless," 2: your deviantart (dang site won't let non-members review, gr.), and 3: how much I continue to respect and enjoy "Falling Feels Like Flying." So fasten your seat belt.

Your artwork is excellent, as always. It's actually inspired me to branch out in my own drawings, try more abstract things. So thanks for that. My favorites so far have to be, of course, the "escher and doc ock kerfuffle" and "Tyler's Halloween" (hope you continue that soon ). I can't read either without laughing- can't even THINK about either without laughing, in fact. I think the way you set up your panels has a lot to do with that. Case in point: ... "Oh my giddy aunt." I'm laughing while I'm typing this. And don't worry about the acrylics for "but i only hugged it..." They rock! The eyes are so luminous, and I love the way the figure's body swoops down like that. Your use of composition is great. So rest assured that if anyone calls you a one trick pony, they're just riddled with jealousy. Oh, I almost forgot, the Artist's Comments for "you is my MOMMY" made me clutch my sides so the laughter didn't do irrepairable damage.

Hey, look! This is me thanking the stars above that I figured out deviantart allows prose, you just scroll down a ways and there it is! Aren't I a genius? Anyway, not only has this made me aware of the other eight chapters of "Mindless," it's also brought to my attention a bonus erinflanagan "SM2" piece, "Rush Hour." Honestly, I was a little confused by the "we" at the beginning. I thought you may be writing from the tentacles' P.O.V or something, but I figured it out. Once again I am stunned by your ability to communicate complex and technical exposition in a way that is still highly entertaining. Oh yeah, and the quote everyone else loves, I love it too .

Okay, here's the part you can cut and paste and send to thethirdtwin, or however you guys work this kind of thing out. How's writing with another person going, by the way? I can't imagine it's easy, especially with her apparently in America and you in England. Anyway, I actually missed chapter seven, but I've read it now, and you can add my flaming torch and pitchfork to the blood-thirsty mob of fangirls moving as inexorably as the tides toward John Mereii (uh, how do you pronounce that? Ah, nevermind, the rat bastard's dead anyway).

So, to the shock and amazement of, um, no one, I'm definitely enjoying the story so far. The characters are great; the adorable Star, the scary-sharp Chet. It's great to see Escher again, all grown up and on her own. Although it seems kind of strange that both Kat and Escher would lose contact with Otto for so many years and not worry. Oh well. And can I just say how strong the female influence is on Otto's life? I'd bet good money he was close to his mother. Aw. But okay, there's his mother, then Rosie, now Kat and Escher. And see, he get's away from those two and look what happens, he's a vegetable. Just hopefully not permaneantly- right? I'm right, aren't I? That incredible intellect hasn't been drowned in drugs, has it? Okay, need to stay calm, and wait patiently for the next update. I can do that *brittle smile*. Not sure how I'll review, though... eh, I'll find a way, don't you worry.
