Well I genuinely liked it, until Spike killed Angel at the end, didn't think that bit fit so well. It was still beautiful in a strange way and good none the less, but I didn't like the way you ended it, did that mean with the stepping forward that he'd just gone and killed him or that he was just planning to, makes Spike sound sort of insaner than he is as well, unless you were going for a more AU approach of course, not that he might not be insane really it's just that sounds more like something Drusilla might think, or more in the way he was thinking it seems more than what he was thinking, not really quite Spike, it was still really good though, I just have to admit to not liking the way you ended it, also unless Spike was taking Angel out by surprise when Angel didn't expect it, in a fight to the death between the two, despite Spike having beaten him in 'Destiny' and I know they are pretty even matched but he'd certainly not be able to kill him easily, I don't know, it's good anyway, and really beautifully written :)
