Reviews for The Lost Tales of A Steward's Son
O. Goat chapter 1 . 3/24/2005
I know you get more reviews in the Phantom section, but would you mind letting loose a chapter? Just a short slip of a thing, very much like the first two chapters... please?

If you do I may review some more of your stories? (Bribing works, no?)
Otto's Goat chapter 11 . 2/17/2005
This story is getting quite a bit more depth then I at first thought it ever would, but I do still love Denhamir as the snickering wise guy than anything else.

"Marble of Doom" -too funny!

But I'm still eager to see just WHAT he is doing there in the first place...
Elenhin chapter 11 . 2/16/2005
Hmm, I wonder what Denhamir finds the most frightening. What he saw in the Palantir, or the fact that he can not think of anything to say.

Considering the fact that it is Denhamir I am not sure. The dream was a really interesting thing, especially since there was even more information about it with the Palantir.

Boromir running around chasing peasants with an axe, interesting thought. Especially if one keeps in mind that unforuntate ground squirell in the beggining.

I love to read this whenever you post, and am eagerly waiting to see if Denhamir is able to come up with some witty replay. :)

Kindest Regards, Elenhin/Mat the Starchild
Nikoru Sanzo chapter 11 . 2/16/2005
Yipes! Denhamir Abuse! _Wait a moment, Denhamir thought— this is a round room— how did I get a corner out of a round room—? For once, though not for long, Denhamir found himself at a loss for words.

Oh! I can't wait to see what's next! D
Otto chapter 10 . 2/7/2005
Shame! Shame! Leaving a review that says nothing about the toil of my ravaged hands; the work of many sleepless nights... (not really, I just want to make you feel bad)

Coincidentally, I did miss the update on this (you're right- you have far too many fics running around out there). So thank you for reminding me that it was up.

I loved Denhamir here. The only thing I ask is that you continue having him going after what he wants, and not just trying to trick Saruman. That would make him the hero and that's when I would mysteriously stop leaving reviews (-is that a threat?-). Denhamir as the self-absorbed brat is Denhamir at his best.

About Brisaen. Frankly, I think you should kill her off or have her try to kill someone. Maybe she's a mad fangirl of Faramir and completely not capable of making rash decisions. It would be nice to see her as a crazy person... Denhamir could control a crazy person very nicely, I think.

So there, I reviewed! Even if I'm the only one reviewing I expect you to continue on with this. If you don't I shall be very disappointed and I will do something rash- like... something.

Cheers!

Not bad. Not bad at all. Denhamir is positively frightening at times. I don't care for the name, but I suppose it is bit late for that.
Elenhin chapter 10 . 2/3/2005
Oh, it's so exciting, and I must admitt that I have gotten just a tad lost with the chapters changing numbers on me.

Still it is as intruging as ever. It is Denhamir who insults an orc in Isengard.

The flashback to the cellar was really funny, though I for one would think it amusing to know why Boromir locked him into the cellar.

He does not seem to be one who would do it simply to be cruel, that would be Denhamir locking Faramir in the cellar I think.

Anyway it was great to see this again.

Denhamir is back! For awhile there, he seemed to be slipping into a nicer, less sarcastic person, but I see he has returned.

Boromir, the pack-mule -laughs-

"...To fame, I hope, thought Denhamir, smiling after him. To a future of greatness. As he deserves, so may Boromir receive.

So may all of us.

Especially me..."

Kudos (bar)!
moccona coffee chapter 1 . 1/13/2005
What can one possibly say, after reading your wonderful work, other than 'I am in absolute love with your Denhamir'?

He is so sarcastic, so self-centered. Yet he bears this incredible amount of innocence found only in a child!(After all, only a child would take out a magnifying glass and burn ants to ashes and still laugh about it. I find it a bit ironic that the very figurehead of innocence is also capable of such undivided cruelty. Something I learned in life) He is such a powerful character, which is not a easy thing to find in a fanfiction.

All in all, it was truly amazing to see a fictional charater so alive, and so convincing.

I will await your next update with bated breath. :)

Wish you a pleasant weekend(and if your not on my side of earth, then plesant weekdays),

Serulene
Elenhin chapter 13 . 1/12/2005
Thou art skilled indeed.

Was this two chapters at once, I got confused, I thought I had missed something.

As always master full at any acount. Somehow I am begining to think that if he is not carefull Denhamir might plot himself into a corner.

He seems to be ploting against Faramir for no other reason than the fun of it. I would like to see if he could convince Faramir, that he himself is plotting against his own father. Thus far he had started Boromir thinking about it, but Faramir would be far more impressive.

When it said that the morning broke soundlessly, I saw the jumping monthe phyton sun crashing to the ground in front of me. A morning falling and shattering is just what I would espect.

Well, it was great to read this, I can not wait untill the next update.

Soon, please, (down on knees and beging,)

Kindest Regards, Elenhin/Mat the Starchild

As they say, weakening your opponent's resolve is a victory in itself. Does Denhamir own a copy of Art of War? _;
Ebon Oleander Wenham chapter 6 . 1/10/2005
Great story...love Elrond's random capitalization and Boromir's slowness...hehehe...the Athlete's Foot of the Dwarves.
mrs. bloom chapter 8 . 1/7/2005
oh my god! i started watching Lost for Dommy too! (aren't knicknames cool?) then i actually saw lost and i loved it. i was furious when i thought they killed Dommy. just visited u'r homepage trying to see the picture of faramir, who besides merry, pippin, boromir, and denethor is my favorite character! daisy wenham, dommy monaghan, orli bloom, sunny bean, and billy (no nickname yet) boyd are just too great! any way, i really like the fic! especially with boris (boromir) being so dumb and poor fari being so unloved. (it's strange, as much as i love faramir, and i do, my favorite fics are the ones where he's being hurt and manipulated. maybe it's because i love him so much and want to be able to help him.) thanx for a great fic! (even though i'm not done yet)

bye!

p.s. did i mention how much i love carl?
Nikoru Sanzo chapter 12 . 1/7/2005
as a lake undisturbed...

“I am glad to see that you predict a future for us together,” said Denhamir, and she blushed, “but I sincerely doubt that I could ever get exhausted from you. Perhaps you would be pleased to give me an opportunity to test this theory?”

Go Denhamir! We be cheering thee on! D
Otto's Goat chapter 12 . 1/5/2005
Oh, how did I miss this?

Denhamir meeting Saruman? -thud- this concept alone throws out everything I've read in chapter 12. I'm sorry, but I have no thoughts to Brisaen, I just keep thinking of what will ensue once our hero continues on his journey. This should be fun!

I'm hoping that Brisaen is a prostitute and just trying to change her ways. Make her an orc in disguise. Make her really an elf-boy with bad thoughts. Make her Denhamir's sister- just please don't make her the perfect lover interest.

I won't forgive you otherwise! And then you will have to put up with me bawling in the review sections of all your other stories...
