This is a great story, the way its told is perfect. Its nice to read a good fanfic like this that doesn't skip several days/weeks then go on to tell the story like nothing was skipped. definatly look forward to the next one! Great work!

I know that what I am about to say is a really silly, nitpick-y sort of thing to say and I would like for you to know that I quite enjoy this story so far and I will see it though to the end, regardless of anything that I type here might imply... That said 20,000 yen is 250 dollars currently and has been steadily, though slowly, reaching parity with American money. Even back in the year 1995, the yen was on the rise and the dollar was on the fall, a situation that was probably made horrendously worse by the Second Impact(And yes, I know that is mostly my own opinion on the matter and there is no canonical information on this one way or the other, which is why I said it was a very silly and nitpick-y sort of thing to complain about, I just had to say it though. It's also the only I can find that seems wrong with this story, which is I hope is more of a complement than it seems now that I typed it out.

Sorry for the trouble, I really do like this story and I wish that many of the Evangelion stories that I've read were even half as good as this one is. Thank you for your hard work and for the effort & time that have gone into making this story what it is.

You for got the Germans only used red devils mom because there were the data form what happen to shinji mom and were trying for some bigger better verson of it so to speak. So shinji mom in the long run would save akuka mom if she lived because the Germans would have had better data and akuka mom wouldnt have lost her mind/soul to unit 03

Sorry to nitpick, but as a 9 year veteran of the US Navy I can tell you, Nuclear Generators on ships CANNOT explode that way. There is simply nothing TO explode. The only type of accident which can occur on a nuclear aircraft carrier or ship based nuclear reactor is called a Decay Heat accident, in which whatever coolant system is used to cool the reactor fails, and it build heat up enough to melt and damage the core.

There is a fail safe in nuclear based ships which jettisons the core into ocean (which is one big coolant bed) in the event of catastrophic failure. Even if this fail safe were damaged, the event would not be instantaneous or an explosion. What would happen would be, at worst, a meltdown event, which would lead to radioactive contamination and a quick (but not explosive and by no means lethal to an an EVA) build up of temperature.

However, the tactic isn't entirely unsound, if Asuka were aiming for... say... a munitions magazine, especially considering the fact that EVA universe battleships would probably mount N2 weapons of some sort.
