I realise how many years it's been since you guys finished this fic, but I just wanted to tell you that I loved it! Would've loved to have seen an au flipside to this, ie if bill had of answered his phone. Kudos guys, and thank you!

Finally! I finished the Prequels! Wow! After more than a year, I've finally completed reading each chapter and reviewing it. I think this was a terrific, yet tragic finish to the prequels...Bill being so happy with Beatrix...Beatrix realizing she's pregnant. When Bill didn't hear the phone ring, and when Beatrix put down the phone because of the doorbell (Karen Kim)...so much tragedy right there in that short but very important sequence. It was so aggravating and frustrating at how it all came about in the story, since we know what it leads to. Overall, I think you both did a terrific job in these sequels...lots of hard work and thought put into the fics. I like how we understand Bill's bastardly, but hard ways-and how we see why Beatrix can't handle the truth...I liked the portrayal of Vernita being close to Bea at one point and then growing distant, loved Elle...Budd was pretty good, seemed like an outsider, I was hoping to see more of him, and same for O-Ren. Overall you really did a great job and I'm looking forward to reading more of "Life and Times of Murdering Bastard" and "Three Months."

Oh and slight suggestions/nitpicks.

1. Glad you got the dialogue separated out and not in one huge pargraph like the beginning of prequel 1.

2. Airplane...saw it written as two different words: "air" and "plane"...same as headache..."head" and "ache."

Umm, other than that, nothing else to say except I want some enchiladas and that it's fitting that Bea and Bill spend their last time together in the backyard...before Two Pines, and also after her roaring rampage of revenge. :)

Uh-oh...Lisa Wong. And we know what happens with that. As for Vernita...it was cold on her part to reveal that to Beatrix, like she got some smug satisfaction out of telling her that she'll have what Beatrix wants. Little does she know that Bea will be close to that dream too...and what will happen as a result. Did I mention that Budd rules? Gotta love my Budd! Well, off to finish the last chapter!

Awesomeness. I loved the confrontation between Bill and Bob. And I'm thrilled that there was more Budd in this chapter. I like the hints about El Paso and Ernie...this is definitely coming t a close.

Interesting chapter. I was wondering if Bill's reaction to the computer was a nod toward Q. Tarantino, who is said to be computer phobic. By the way...around the part where Bill was tinkering with the laptop...you meant to say "illiterate" and it said "literate"...gives the sentence a totally different meaning. And in the last chapter "freight"...you meant "fright." Just trying to help. :) I like how Beatrix runs into the serums, including the Undisputed Truth...little do they know how that'll turn out between them. And I found this conversation to be so eerily similar to their final conversation in Vol. 2, with Bill not apologizing for who he is, and that she should know what he's about.

Wow...now I understand why this chapter was entitled "Elle At Her Finest." Oh man, her killing scenes made my stomach churn, seriously. Two butcher knives in the guy's legs? Ripping out the woman's throat? Ugh! Very gross. If anything, this chapter reminded me I'm reading about killers-vicious and efficient killers. Elle is truly is a natural born killer. I read this chapter to Bush's "Synapse"...the song went well for some reason. It went with a KB video on

Okay, back to the review...I enjoyed the scene on the plane between Elle and Beatrix. And I'm glad we got to see a glimpse into Elle's mind, as to how she feels about Bill and Beatrix, and why the idea of Beatrix sleeping with Bill pushes her over the edge. The fic is great, as I've told you before, I just wish there were more moments like this with all the Vipers: showing what they feel, what makes them tick.

I laughed at "Go wash your hands"...it was so random and calm just like when Vernita asked Bea, "you want some coffee?" Oh and sure, Bea does get back at Elle for throwing the soda in her face...she throws Budd's spit in Elle's face in Vol. 2. Neat way to work that in, huh?

Great chapter. I love reading about the DIVAS interactions with each other. Bill and Beatrix together is fun reading, but I tend to really enjoy how they get along with the Vipers...especially Beatrix.

It seems out of the Vipers, that Budd and her are the most friendly to each other. And I wonder if anything's boiling between O-Ren and Budd...since in Vol. 2, he did ask about her. I have a feeling that Vernita met her future husband, Dr. Lawrence Bell. I enjoyed this chapter, including Elle's response to working with Bea.

And Bea...she does tend to add fuel to the fire. I'm not sure if she's doing it on purpose or not, but she knows O-Ren and the rest of the Vipers are't too keen on her, so why make it worse with biting comments? Then again, this is Beatrix Kiddo, the smart-ass.

The only thing I tend to disagree with is the portrayal of O-Ren. I have trouble seeing her as just a "stuck-up bitch." Given her history with her parents being killed in front of her, I would think it'd distort her emotions and how she relates to people-but not in a way that makes her conceited or arrogant. The situation with Bob...it was very brief, and prior to that, there wasn't much O-Ren/Beatrix interaction in the story...very little in fact. So it seems that their relationship is flimsy, and I do wish there was more details behind it-epecially considering their fight scene in Vol 1. O-Ren does ridicule her and apologize-so yes, she does seem to think she's better than Beatrix-but there's much more to their relationship...be it a friendship, comepetition...don't get me wrong, I like what you have so far, but out of all the Vipers, I find that O-Ren is the most aloof and the least I know about in this story. There's a lot about her in the movies, and I thought it would've been used more to flesh out her character.

Other than that, keep up the great work. I'm almost done!

I really enjoyed the "mime slaughter", that was amusing. Uh-oh, Bea and Bill didn't get gifts for the rest of the gang. I guess they'll get over it. I loved the quote about Bill wanting to be killed by someone who is worthy of killing him. It's creepy how he's saying that and he has no idea that it'll be Beatrix, who is his equal, and that she'll be the last person to see him. Great way to work in the movie. Same with Bea saying about getting a cap busted in her crown. They both tend to give each other ideas without meaning to. Great work...and something tells me this is the love making session in which Bea gets pregnant with B.B.

Wow, great job. The love/hate between Bill and Beatrix is really alive in this chapter. The way they communicate, or rather miscommunicate over the simplest things is what draws them to each other. Beatrix plays around and wonders why Bill gets so mad, then Bill is sincere and honest,and Beatrix still won't tell the truth or brushes him off. I feel very nsynch with the story. The paragraph about Bill wanting to get the truth out of her, I thought of the truth serum in the movie, and then it was actually mentioned! The jacket scene shows how childish both of them can be, even if they are adult professional killers...childish in a sense, but also like a normal couple that has occassional squabbles over tiny things. And of course, Bill's sweet side came out in the end. I love the line that mentions how quick the pendulum swings between his furious nature to his sweet one. Truly sociopathic!

I enjoyed this chapter...especially in regards to how Bill and Beatrix feel about the DiVAS. I enjoy Bill/Beatrix and I know this fic is based on their relationship, but I really love hearing about the Vipers...I liked the line about Vernita being the best woman with edged weapons...great from the movies. I also liked some reflection on the relationship Budd and Bill. I also like how 'Sleepy Time' originated...that Bill was saying something that Beatrix said to him during their time together in Paris. Bill's intrigue is mysterious. One idea for a fic would be how he recruited the other Vipers and his thoughts on them. I like his mystery, it leaves me wanting to know more. And I like that the meeting was mentioned between B&B...esp since I read the new fic about it in detail.

Leave it to Bill and Beatrix to kiss in a cavern full of dead skeletons! Mel, this is something you should illustrate. Beatrix and Bill kissing, arms wrapped around each other, in a dimly lit cavern surrounded by ancient skeletons. Jess, you and Mel come up with some crazy stuff-I like it a lot. I think the place appealed to Beatrix and Bill given their "professions"...as if they'd be buried there, if people were still put in catacombs. Good work!

Aw, that was a sweet way to end the chapter. I enjoyed the dance scene. I must say that it reminded me very much of Two Pines. I'm not sure if that's what you and Mel were going for, but that's what I kept thinking Jess. The whole idea of Beatrix saying "I don't fall for your bullsh!t"...yeah, that's what she says now, but then when she's at Two Pines and Bill says "If he's the man you want, then go to him"...she actually believes he's letting her go. Letting her move on from him and the DiVAS and mostly, letting go of all their times together including this magnificant trip to Paris. I don't want to say "yeah, Bea has it coming to her", because that's harsh, wrong, and really she didn't deserve all the horrendous treatment she goes through in the movie. However, there seems to be this whole thing about her...she's naieve to a huge degree. She's brilliant, beautiful, and deadly, yet very...I don't know...she's not stupid, but she just lies to herself or really fools herself into thinking she knows Bill. In a way, because of that, I feel compassion for her and her ordeal.

As for Bill and the whore...I like the details of him being the Snake Charmer and having so many sides to him that it's "dizzying". It explains how he's able to be calm during Two Pines when talking to Tommy, then watch in cold silence as Beatrix is brutally beaten, and finally...how he's able to be loving father to B.B. I like that Bill nor Beatrix are flat characters in the movie, and nor are they here. You present them with a lot of depth and hints as to how we see them in the movie. Great job and I'll finish this fic hopefully soon.

Oh, *thank God I didn't click Submit Review*...I wanted to say that the way he talks to her to distract her...that's why it reminds me of Two Pines...because that's exactly what he does. Talks to her, cajoles her so she never sees what's about to happen...and yes I got this idea from peeking at "KB: Three Months" but even without that...there has to be more than a "last look" when he sees her at Two Pines. If anything, where Beatrix is worried about faking dancing in this chapter, Bill has NO PROBLEMS faking it (to an extent) during Two Pines.

What can I say...

It has taken me a while but I have read like a woman possesed, never able to leave it for too long until I returned to read another chapter. I have to say that it is by far the best piece of accompanyment writing I have ever read. The effort that went into this is obvious and I can say that your hard work has produced a stunning piece of work that I have laughed along with.

So here I was looking for my review of chapter 16 and I swore up and down that I reviewed it! Then I realized that I accidently skipped this chapter and went onto the next. So I'm back again to review Chap 16.

I enjoyed this chapter just like all the rest. There seemed to be a twinge of irony and sadness. Irony because of how the woman told Beatrix that she had to get away from her kids (the normalcy she seeks) otherwise she'd kill them (who Beatrix really is). I like how those two ideas keep being juxtaposed, even at the end where Bill told her a semi-lie. He doesn't seem to realize that he's treading on a sensitive subject for Beatrix. She still wants that normal life. Bill might want it too, but it'd take something drastic for him to have it...like having a baby. B.B. anyone? Then at the end, it reminded me of how Bill tells her she will always be a killer no matter what. It wasn't stated in those words like in Vol. 2, but the point was definitely there that she would always be who she is and same for him.

I also liked the part that describes how Bill can turn on his charming side and act "regular" and "likeable" just as he did with Tommy in Two Pines. Tommy had no idea he was talking to the father of his soon-to-be (or never-to-be wife's baby's father) or that either of them were mass murderers.

Enjoyable chapter! Glad I went back to it! :)

This is so sweet! I remember the picture of Bea holding the bread-the same one B.B. had by her bedside and her hair was definitely blowing around. As for the earrings..I thought of the earrings that Beatrix was wearing at the wedding rehearsal that they show at the end of Vol. 1. These are the same earrings right? I really love details like this that we see happen in the movies later. So much thought put into the story and I for one appreciate it. I also found it funny when the saleswoman tried to insult them and imply that they don't work hard. Well...little does she know, right? Great read!
