i would hate them for pretty much abandoning him

This starts off very good, loving the use of the characters and all but its still only in its conception...its all 'setting-up' still. I also find I cannot agree with the addults opinions...Harry would be better off knowing because how is he meant to prepare himself if he doesnt even really know what he's up against? And surely the fact that he's been marked as an equal would hint that he's actually got a chance whereas right now he believes he doesnt? Their frustration of 'we're adults we know best and the child's opinion has no matter whatsoever...never mind what their being abandoned to a house filled with hate, yet watched so closely in all other matters and constantly being told 'not to trouble yourself when it fact the opposite is clearly true is doing to saidd child's mental and emotional state!'...honestly you've done an excellent job of getting that across, i actually felt pure frustration over this one at parts...too bad its nowhere near completion :)

i won't be saying what's wrng with you but... WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT CRAZY OLD COOT! very good story but i feel for Harry being left in the dark like he is. i love Dumbledore but he is a moron at times. and Remus follows way too blindly (but that's cannon I'm mad at Rowling for that!)

I find it unfair that everyone in the major party knows the prophecy but Harry. In order for him to survive it's best to know all the information instead of just pieces of it. Dumbledor forgot that even if he keep Harry alive physically but mentally he also heed to keep alive too. Harry is loosing faith towards the people he supposed to count on. It's good so far to pile up the troubles for the light side and maybe the waves of trouble will decrease with time.

Wow, I love this story and the plot is amazing. You should continue but I see that your update was in the year 2004 so it seems unlikely. You should continue though, the storyline is too good to pass up.
