Everyone hates Machievellı and others like him when they speak the uncomfortable truth that no peace is truly bloodless. We were gifted with free will from our creator and people are inherently selfish, as long as those two truths exist there can never be true peace because dissonants will always exist.

I'm in love with this story- it's beautiful, and the last chapter leaves you free to imagine your own ending for the wizarding world.

wow! that was a deep Deep DEEP ending! wow!

This story was very well done. I started out reading some of your other works, and decided to scan through your profile to see more of your writing. I do not usually read anything Harry/Snape (seems too unlikely and the age difference is quite a bit as Snape was Harry's parent's age, but I digress) but the summary of this one got to me. I love how you showed Harry in the dream world, just wanting to be done with his future and left alone with his loved ones. This is my impression of Harry completely in the novels, and going with that realism made your story all the better. However, my favorite part of this one, as well as the reason I am reviewing, was Hermione - she was perfect. I can completely see her going from chapter one as the committed friend who manages to notice Snape's attitude toward Dumbledore to the defiant witch in chapter four that sees the problems no one else wants to admit to as they are desperate for peace. Her visiting muggle friends regardless of the laws she finds unworthy and hollow, leading to her burning hatred towards her tormentor in the face of pain was amazing. Great story, and awesome character portrayal!

wow this is a lot better than i thought it might be...it really gets me to thinking about stuff...i hope you add more and in a timely fashion. .

I don't typically find much originality in the fanfiction I read, but the concepts you've brought up are some that I haven't actually seen, at least in the Harry Potter fics. An alternate ending to the conflict with a treaty with Voldemort and his followers: interesting and also very unique.

Your ending was also very well done, in respect to the changes occuring in Harry's character and the price for peace. It wasn't too specific, but just so so a reader could visualize the differences.

So, altogether a short, brilliant fanfiction.

This was a very interesting story, not too fluffy and not too angsty. I like the idea of it and the message behind it. All in all a good and thought-provoking read.
