You've poeted me into incoherency with your gorgeous writing! I love the touch with the scroll, and the end dialogue - the order in which each of them thinks of love and hate - is very indicative. Very much so. "'I was only gone for a week,' Salazar would say, leaping off his horse to give him one of his bony, bruising hugs. 'Gone for a week and you feel the need to search the length and breadth of Britannia for me.'" Oh, yes. Gorgeous. I love them. |
