This NEEDS a sequel!

Oh, COOL! This was a really nifty idea, and extremely well written.

Two things, though: First, Amidala is Padmé's last name; I think Anakin/Vader would refer to her by her first name. Second, and I know this is really nitpicking, the phrase is "sheer power", not "shear power".

"I didn’t know if it was a girl or a boy, my sources had given me both for an answer." That's a great line, given what we find out in ROTJ.

“Give that to the child you protect, that I may know my son when I find him.” This just gives me chills every time I read it.

All in all, an excellent story.

(A/N: Put's on James Earl Jones voice.) Interesting. Most interesting. Next time perhaps, put in paragraphs, and I think Vader always naturally asumed the child Padme bore him would be a son. (Typical Imperial Male chavanisim.)

Um, one question. If Vader doesn't know if he has a son or daughter, then how come at the end you say, "Give that to the child you protect, that I may know my son when I find him"?
