The battle cry used at helms deep when the sun was rising, was "Forth Eorlingas!" As the Rohirrimic lords belonged to the house of Eorl.

The battle cry "Forth Helmingas!" was used earlier in the battle and was meant to rally the defenders of Helms deep.

Whoah...I literally got chills reading that! It's so short, so simple-and so strong! "Helm is come again" but he's really nothing more than a soldier lying among his fellows. You grasped that fact about battle amazingly well, and presented it so bluntly and so powerfully. That was incredible. Seriously, seriously incredible.

This was great, I really enjoyed reading it. It just shows that in the hardest times it doesn't have to be the heroes of legend that make the difference - exactly the point Tolkien was making with Frodo and Sam.

I enjoyed this story very much. In difficult times oridinary people often inspire their fellow men and women to press on. Well done! I find this especially relevant in our own difficult times.
