Snape and Draco, my heart! It's been a long time, but for the record, I would love more one-shots of the two of them throughout Draco's childhood. The two of them can bring out the best in each other (when not around Gryffindors, at least).

Good thing Draco has Severus.
A glimpse into the home life of Draco Malfoy. He had pretty much everything but the love of his parents. No wonder he turned out the way he was.

this is the first of your fics that i've read and it's absolutely excellent. am writing this review after reading the fic for the third time and it loses none of its poignancy.

i love the interaction between Snape and Draco best, not only the sweetness of toddler-Draco's trust and Snape's protectiveness but how you expand from there on to the other topics that Snape's thoughts run on to.

Your use of transitions is really great and the narrative runs smoothly from start to end. Even if my 'sweeth tooth' thinks that the moment when Draco holds his arms out to Snape is my favourite, I must say that every portion of your writing rings 'true', in the sense that all characterisations are plausibly IC. A big thanks for creating such an enjoyable fic (am adding this to my favs), and if you ever decide to continue this fic or write other fics in similar vein I'd pounce upon 'it' with due delight :P
