I really liked this...Ron seemed so real and in character...I just hate the stories where they portray him as some dense idiot...Funny people can be serious and grow up...

Ron is my favorite character within the Harry Potter series. And, you, being a new author that I have recently stumbled upon (which i'm really excited about, given how many stories you have written! i basically searched Ron and Pansy P and found you) I wanted to see how you portrayed him. I read "Deeper" (how i found you; VERY well done) and now this. Even though it was short, I liked it. im not a very good writer myself (i haven't written in a few years so I dont even know how i am now) but one of my most favorite past times is reading, especially Anyway, i'm going to contiue looking through your collection (if you have any favorites, it would be great if you can let me know)and hopefully i will be just as impressed.

Again, highly qualitative and all in touch with the events in the book. One thought hit me. Many of the other character studies you have done deals more with the character him/her-self. This one, one the other hand, is more about others - about how Ron feel about Hermione and Harry. His very first thought went not to the insult form McGonagall, but to Hermione's well beeing. I think you in this have caught the very essence of Ron. He, the joker and insensitive jerk, defines himself more by his friends and relatives than by what he really is (thus his bad self esteem). I can think of no one in the whole of Hogwarts being better for Harry at this moment of loss. Excelent written!

this one's a little iffy, McGonagall seems a bit off. But that could be because your interpretation of Ron is as a clown, which i don't necessarily agree with; i think that would be Fred or George. McGonagall and Ron have been through things this serious together and she hasn't been this way with him but perhaps she's compensating for her own cluelessness by lecturing Ron. Maybe I'm overanalysing but I think she would give Ron, as Harry's best friend of five years, a little more credit.

yay, this is so sad... yes I know that was a rather odd sentence, but w/e, anyways, I'm really sad to see how Ron has been affected by Sirius' death... but the way you wrote it is exactly what I think would have happened while Harry was talking to Dumbledore...

hey this is really good. it makes me feel bad for Ron, which is kind of hard since I'm not his biggest fan - although I do like him he's entertaining. Keep up the great work, taintless!

it's weird why you would want to write this random fic about a character although it's an interesting view of Ron, who I think is deeper than most people think

he's imperfect and a good example of a normal person

First of all, the story was really good. Was it a one shot or are you going to do more? Please write more. Second, I got the thing from Bacon Strips too. Never heard of the person, so they'd yell at me, I have no clue. They're probably just pissed and vented on random people.

This is so sad and sweet. It's true though that those who have the brightest shining star of humor and hope. Are also those who often have the deepest and hardest pain.
