Nooooo... but what happens next?

i don't get it. this started out really promising but then it somehow devolved to malfoy wanting to kill harry and actually commit it in hogwarts' grounds for reasons that aren't fully explained. and for that matter, why is harry so helpless? he got caught in two sticky situations one after the other! it's pathetic! he could do wandless and wordless magic, surely he could have gotten himself out of the situation and cursed malfoy to hell and back. why is he so pathetic now?

If you don't complete it, could you at least tell how it finishes? Pleaseeee. This is such a good story with such a suspenseful cliff hanger.
