Wow, Jareth is really pissing me off for what he is doing to poor Toby. Their relationship is starting to get really dysfunctional and abusive.

Ah, the fantastical story continues further and further and manages to grow more complex every chapter! It's really nice, actually. The whole thing has a complicated reality to it that most other fanfics can't capture. Not that the Goblin Kingdom is my personal reality or anything, but just that it's not all peaches and cream all the time. I also like how they had a daughter instead of a son. Usually writers just pop out a son and tah-dah! There's the next king who'll take after the father exactly.

One thing, I felt lost and rushed when all of a sudden he returned to Toby having been attacked and raped again. It felt like it was just thrown in to give Toby a new sense of strength to build up his character. It's not something that I'm going to dislike the whole story over, I'm just pointing out my own lack of understanding or feeling on that particular moment of a chapter.

Anyway~~I still love the story and I will now head off to definitely read the third part. I'm going to throw my guess in here before I continue. When I was first introduced to Archer again after the rape in the first part, I was fairly sure it was him. I still think it's him since it seems to happen when he's around. Though I can't be sure if that fits in with the second incident in the park...
