*Perfect* ending. I'd like to read that story sometime.

I enjoyed this very much when I read it the other day. Thanks for writing it for us! Imagining Vetinari in our world is hilarious! I love it! And you did it all very well. It's just like him to be unphased by it all and just look everything up the library. He's still Vetinari through and through even in roundworld.

Very cool, Just a question. This line is a little confusing it could be a typo or it could be meant archaically, which doesn't exactly fit the context of this story: "To do this, we need divers equipment" Please could you let me know which it is.

A friend recommended this story to me and I'm glad I followed her advice. It was very amusing, especially to have people adress his lordship as "Mr Vetinari". I'll add it to the Vetinari Files.

This is blooming brilliant! Great storyline and handling of the Discworld theories and I think you characterised all the people perfectly. That ending is a classic. Brilliant.

MineGeorgi: Well, I'm definitely glad I stumbled across this fic. You've written a very in-character Vetinari (which seems to be a rare find) and I was impressed how your writing often echoed Pratchett's own style - in particular the paragraph on the Ankhian Trout sounded so much like the characteristic Pratchett ramble I thought I was reading one of his footnotes for a second.

I love how you portrayed Vetinari's attitude to this world and how he dealt with situations - though it would've been nice to see him handle a wider variety of them. Your theory involving the Creator and the Trouser of Time idea was truly an inspiration of creativity, but you let it down a little bit by choosing a very simplistic option for him to actually get home. It'd have been nice to understand WHY he chose to step in front of the truck and understand both how that got him back and why he was there in the first place.

So apart from the odd loose end, this is one of my favourite Discworld fics. Well done!

Funny, weird, random-but-still-making-a-kind-of-sense, & loads of fun to read. Vetinari's so himself. It all fits together so neatly. In this chapter I particularly liked a/ Vimes throwing a fish at Vetinari & b/ Vetinari getting elected. Exactly as it should, nay, WOULD be. Instantfave.

A wonderful idea and very well done at that. I loved the part about Vetinari becoming a meterologist and the litt chapter headings giving the weather report.
