I think this is the oldest I, Robot fanfiction based on the movie on . I really enjoyed it! I like how Susan and Del 'adopt' Sonny. They all deserve a family and I'm glad they found one in each other. 3

A very enjoyable little one-shot. :) I don't necessarily see Spooner and Calvin as being a couple when all is said and done, but I don't dismiss the possibility, either. It's one of those things that *could* happen and if written in a plausible manner, could turn out nicely. I think you managed to move their relationship along in a very believable way, covering some of the problems that would likely come up after the end of the movie and using them effectively as spring boards for the relationship.

Susan's dialogue seemed a little loose at the end, which I guess might happen if she were to hang around Del long enough, but it just sounded a bit weird seeing the word "baby" used by her in that way. Del's dialogue seemed dead on to me, though. Oh, and excellent job integrating the journal entries with the narrative. I thought that was pulled off quite well!

Also, Robertson's first name is actually Lawrence.

Anyway, great bit of writing and while I don't know if you intend to write another based on the movie any time soon, I'll be sure to check it out if you do. :)

Lou, Very nice short story. I enjoyed it very much. Please consider writing more short, stand alone, "I, Robot" stories. They'd comprise a collection which I'm sure many of us would enjoy reading and re-reading.
