Wow. I really really loved this, even though it's a bit outdated & is now obviously outrageously AU. But I just felt I can relate it a bit to canon Sirius. You never got in depth about his feelings (Which I think is good, because I don't think he would've reflected much on them in the first place. He'd've just lived the grief, I think) so it wasn't very hard to think of how guilty he would've felt if his real parents (whom he loathed) were killed in his sixth year (right after he ran way) Of course it's a bit far fetched that Voldemort would kill the BLACKS for a bad off spring, but still... I thought it was very very good.

First, I must say I really liked this story...it was very good, even if with the publishing of OOTP very AU. But it is wonderful, and I love it! Nice work!

I understand that this was written before OotP, and because of that I didn't really enjoy it. Sirius HATES his mother, so this didn't really make sense. But, besides the plot, it WAS well written.

Good explaination to the story behind JKR's reasons for Snapes hatred of the Mauders. Written well and easy to follow. Can't wait to read more of your fiction.

such a sad story well written too. this was written before the 5th book came outr where it was discovered sirius's family was of that pure blood nonsense and that his brother was a death eater. so considerng the historical mistakes all in all its fantastic
