This is just so heartbreaking... I love it!

The feels are strong with this story. It is so short and perfect for a story like this.

I honestly got tears in my eyes in the end... it didn't helped that I was listening to 'My chemical Romance -Welcome to te Black Parade' Man... I'm still crying...

This was beautiful, amazing. The semi-simplistic style that you wrote it in really compliments this type of story. You didn't overburden the reader with immense paragraphs of description, as stories like this tend to do, but kept it short and poignant. The characters were spot on.

Really, just a gorgeous read.

Wow. A fanfic has never made me cry before, but this one did it. And the part with Zoro thinking that he always thought that Sanji would die in battle, not like this...

Hm, I ususally avoid death-character fics.. (especially if it is a character dear to me) but written by you.. heck, I had to give it a try. And ohhm, I had forgotten your writing, or more like the effects.. You manage to jab at the most sensitive parts of my brain with words, reminding me of why and how someone can manage to *feel* for a fictional character, and especially to make me fall in love with language again :) Well, yours at least X)Also, I'm planning on steering my studies in the direction of the study of language itself, so not only do I adore your skills, but they count (to me at least) as pre-degree practice :D:D Fiction-reading can improve your life! ( if slash :D)

Ahem, on to the "proper" reviewing:

The narration is very in character, e.g. the way of introducing Sanji's death is so very Zoro-like, so cutting, so final, like when he tells this to Luffy and stubbs out the cigarette. It's like ending with any hope Luffy/the reader had (for those extremely fantastical fics), especially after even Zoro "half-expected" to see Sanji again -obviously ending in deception.. And how it is not until half-way that we see Zoro adknowledging his own feelings of missing the cook, so Zoro, first others, especially in matters of "hurt" and then him.

His view of the job of the first-mate brings warmth, (which I like even if it's an angsty fic), just like Luffy's own "child-like logic", to which Zoro finally submits, like always.

I shall try to review as many as possible in compensation for me abandoning you all this time! And again, thanks for submitting, you help spreading emotions, a great and admirable task!
