Wait, did his gold skin come back for good? I don't read that...also the bit with the dragon was very sad. I was like, well the eggs are- 'the spawn are dead'- not fine. I wanted to kill the bitch too! So wait, what happened to his kid? I have read the first two books and I am preparing to read the third, is she in it? I am sad you killed Raistly in the prev. books, and I hope he comes back...which is partly why I am reading the third book XD. 'I want to sleep for a week' is right, after all that! I hope you will continue the series, though I haven't read the third book yet...I'm going to stop rambling and start reading it!

I enjoyed this story very much. Though it often took me some time until I got around reading another chapter, I regard it as one of the best fanfics I've ever read and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Please keep up this good work, this story was definitely worth to keep it in mind and not putting it away even over the course of ten years.

Oh wow... just wow! What a great and furious plot twist. I never expected this.I love this chapter.

I really asked myself if you would ever work this story into the lance-events and the later bluestar timeline, but this is just great.

Raistlin could have become good or at least stable-neutral, but all was destroyed in one tragical moment. And the way how he dealt with Marion... Wow, such a tragical chain of events and misunderstandings.

You see from my extremely frequent use of the word "wow" how impressed I am. I start to ask myself if it even makes sense to continue with Wishful Thinking, it will never be as good as this.

Pet: I like the cynical humor in that comment very much. That situation must be humiliating, how can Raistlin still make these witty comments?

By the way, some dialogues in this chapter are hilarious others very touching. A great mixture. Now I'm beginning to understand who Maigrey is.

Finally, I got around to review another chapter. I'm sory it takes me so extraordinarily long to comment this story, but it would be wasted to be just read in between and on the flight.

The story is as good as always and I really felt sympathy for Raistlin at his farewell from the desert.

The sword sounds interesting. Is that common in RPGs? Because I never stumbled over one. I only remember "Need" from a Mercedes lackey novel. Need also gave her wielder, a mage, the ability of a fighter. Very useful. But in later stories the sword developed the "nasty" habit to start talking and commenting what the wielder did... yep. That's the trouble with enchanted swords...

Wellint was a drider? Oops. According to your first description I had thougt him to be one of these scorpion demons whose name I have forgotten. But drider? Wow, that's what I call far away rom home.

With Raistlin constantly been hauled into one battle after another this works like a good role playing campaign with adventures lurking beneath every corner. Still here is always some connection with the main quest. Did you ever think of turning the search for the forgotten god into an sdventure for people to play it?

(If I remember correctly you mentioned having played parts of it.)

Oh wow, one new surprise with each chapter. Your research on the beduines surely provided a very lively setting.

The demon is cool. I can imagine him, these things gave me a hard time in the ravenloft computergame...(actually that part that playes in the desert. LOL) To Raistlin's luck, this one seems to be the talkative type. But he surely plans evil rituals to rip the borderlines between the spheres to bring terror and despair to the world and grant himself infinite power... or he just wants to home and have tea and cookies...

I love this story, it introduces so many cool characters. ;)

Oh Caramon has quite a fore-sight talent. It stays interesting...

Ahh... So Raistlin's instructor is a dragon bushi. I liked the way you decribed the difference between bokken and a katana. Most people who write about Samurai swordfighting have never even heard of a bokken. I'm surprised though that Raistlin would even work with a bi-handed sword.

The change-overs of scenes are helpful, so the reader keeps in touch with the different plotlines.

And though he learns, Raist is still his usual sulking self.

A good chapter. (If I ever find a nice way to paraphrase that, my comments will maybe become more original again. LOL)

It was very intriguing how the story about the Miiro was told in parallel scenes. That felt like watching movie sequences...

By the way, I just love the Krynnish firmament with the stars popping in and out hinting whether a deity is at home or on business trip...

What a action filled chapter. The fight was short and lethal. Cool.

By by, Manaxis. You were such a good evil villain. You could have performed a lot of dramatically evil doings in the future, if you hadn't let yourself being slain by Caramon. Why did you have to go so soon?

But I really fear we two sometimes go along the same lines of thinking. That's scary. Slowly but surely I get afraid of reading your stories because I always find parallels. ;)

Believe me please that I didn't steal the magical horses in WT from this fic... (Fortunately they are quite the opposite to this one. Even their name!)

Besides, the name "Avanti" is funny. Nomen est omen, he? But it is better than naming people after fruit. And when mice can be named "Speedy" than horses can be named "Avanti". :D
