I can't believe I missed those last two chapters. Life has a way of sneaking up on one, doesn't it? You are doing a great job of melding angst with action. The story never feels rushed. I was perched on the edge of my seat for the entire lake scene. It was a very unique twist and one I have yet to encounter before, so bravo! You know I love your Dumbledore; I can't rave enough about how perfectly written his character is. I am also loving having Harry back at Hogwarts. The tension between he and Snape is delicious. Then we have the Animagus lessons with McGonagall. Great stuff - I am eager to see where that goes; what form he takes. I can see this turning the tide for our beloved hero during his impending face off with Voldy. Oh man. And the bleeding scar, fantastic addition. I have a soft spot for "wounded Harry". It feeds the sadism in me :D I just can't stop speculating about what Voldemort's ultimate endgame might be. I am so excited and I really hope you will gift us with the next chapter soon. You are a priceless gem, kittyrunner.

I have read these chapters over and over and over. This is my number one favorite fanfiction about HP. I love your portrayal of the characters. You GET them. I am so forlorn to come to chapter 12 and not be able to click "next". Please, PLEASE write more. I have read everything you've posted on this site, until I've just about memorized whole chapters.
That's starting to sound a bit obsessive, but you have a REAL talent for writing, and as far as I'm concerned, you're top-notch in Harry Potter fanfiction.

I know you're probably really busy but it would be really awesome to see an update sometime soon :). I really enjoy this story and its brought several smiles to my face.

I love this story! You just picture Dumbledore as I always imagine him to be towards Harry - like a loving grandfather. I really hope, you will continue it - I am so curious to find out how Dumbledore will help Harry with this illness. It's so touchingly written and I hope their bond will still grow stronger.
