Literally read the first sentence saw the Altair and was like nope. It’s such a genuine fact that his name is Sirius Orion Black that it genuinely bugs me. Even if you wrote it before it was confirmed as Orion, then just edit it. It makes it seem as you don’t actually know anything about the books therefore expect like major inconsistencies.
Might be good, might not. I don’t know because I won’t be reading it.

intriguing so far... the asterisks are a bit unnecessary and make for a difficult read but the writing that accompanies them is very good. will read more!

So I was reading the review for this fic, this being the third time I'm revisiting it—and now I'm biting my fingernails a bit because I'm reading something about placeholders and I just noted this was last updated October of 2016? Much more recently than I last read this fic. Now I'm a bit worried that the full story I loved the first two readings won't be here! D:

BUT ANYWAY this fan fiction is the ONLY multi chapter fanfiction I've read more than once, even being a person who prefers long fanfics. I haven't even read the actual Harry Potter series in its entirety more than once. I first discovered this work when I was like? 13? It's only been three years now, but it feels like forever! Hands down this is probably the fic that impacted me the most. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS STORY AND HOW MUCH I LOVE LARKA. Idk where I'm going with this review. But yeah. I'm super excited to read this for the third time and my fingers are crossed that the full story is here. I fondly remember the footnotes and THE SONNET and Sirius going up to the challenge and the end scene in the pub? I think it was? Is my favorite and HECK I SHOULD JUST START READING NOW ILY BYE

I know I reviewed already (and very recently), but I'm re-reading the story and I just HAD to comment that you write so beautifully. Your style is reminiscent of some of my favorite classic novels.

I love your story! Your writing style is sophisticated, yet easy to follow, you have a good sense of pacing (The pacing is very important to me. I make sure to always mention if a story has good pacing), and your characters were, in fact, definitive characters. It was clear that every personality was defined, and no word or action was out of character (based on your own design).
