I enjoyed reading it and James' point of view is fascinating, I really hope that you will write more soon, after all it has been almost a year! What will your readers do if they have to struggle through even more months of waiting! I fear some may kick the bucket or (in a worse case scenario) try and kick yours!(I mean that they will try to kill you of course not that they will try to attack any buckets you may happen to own as that would be quite odd and rather demented, just like this review to be honest)

Oh, I am loving it! if i knew the word AMAZING in at least 5 different languages I would say them.

When you're talknig about the whole "James sounds so smart" issue... issue? what issue. I don't see it as an issue! James IS smart. He's not a fool. You've conveyed him brilliantly and he's totally beleivable that way. Were he stupid I wouldn't have though it.

And, yes, Lily is a bit cruel to James. But I think ill forgive her for her serious case of denial. In my own imagination, I never pictured Lily how you've written her, or how most people write her but I still like it, mainly cause its beleivable and real. ALso cause its slightly hilarious.. even if i am laughing at their expense.

You need to update, and very soon.

One thing I did pick up, and im not sure if its me merely being extemely non observant but.. I forget which chapter it is now but James is talking to Lily in DADA i think it is, you know, when he starts mentioning how much he hates Professor Hornsby? Actually, maybe its History of Magic... Anyway, James is in class, and he asks Lily if they could be friends this year and she could sit next to him. If my memory serves me, this is their first lesson of year 6 that you've set it in... but later in your story the first lesson of year 6 is when they put up their portraits in the hallway.

I couldnt be entirely wrong, and If i am, please explain it to me.

Well i just love your writing. Very witty, very insightful into the thoughts and actions of James. The banter and interaction between the boys is perfect and entirely in character for all of them. My you've been writing this awhile..i hope you continue..it's so hard to find well written L/J stories but your exceeds expectations..i'm adding you to my favorites.

Wow! That was great! Seems like what James would really say, in my opinion. Very mature and realistic, too...not like the weird fics where Lily just falls for James immediately. Nice job!

the writing in this chapter was really well done. it was very descriptive and full of honest feelings and emotions from the character's point of view. i'm not exactly the best critic but if i can pick out those details from the chapter then it's definitely good. while the writing was good, not much happened in this chapter event-wise so i can't wait for the next one!
