ProTempore chapter 1 . 3/20/2007 What a nice piece of prose. I always want to kind of go back in time and read earlier-dated pieces. I'm happy I found this one! Your imagery is good. I like the image you paint of Tristan in this one. He's not all ice! Good job. |
Shika.Tot chapter 1 . 2/2/2005 ow, cute! |
Zeriae chapter 1 . 10/22/2004 interesting prologue. you've got me intrigued. ) |
spotted.paw chapter 1 . 9/8/2004 I had to bite back my tongue as well as it came to the lady escorted to her betrothed's estate. Damn. But well, this just can't have a happy ending, can it. To use his senses to describe his thoughts about her was such a good idea, and it matched his scout personality so well. Yay. |
TrinityC chapter 1 . 9/3/2004 Beautiful and heartbreaking again - well, how could any tale of Tristan and Isolde end happily? I'd begun to wonder how she might fit into the movie-version of events, and this fits the bill exactly. The list of senses and the ways in which Tristan observes Isolde through them is a lovely device and one that works perfectly; and the twist of tragedy at the end is the perfect bittersweet conclusion. *dries eyes* Wonderful. |
ModestySparrow9 chapter 1 . 7/20/2004 I really like it. Very poetic and decriptive. I like how it fallows the actual story of Tristan and Isolde. |
Sheila51 chapter 1 . 7/19/2004 Oh... That was beautiful. Wow. Really quite beautiful. Short and bitter-sweet. Really lovely. |
Hyper Musician chapter 1 . 7/18/2004 I love it! You have a great diciption of Tristan! I would say more, but I'm speechless! You must make this longer! Great chapter! Goth Musician |
tortuga23 chapter 1 . 7/18/2004 Nice! Wonderful description with the alabaster cheeks and the pert nose. Lovely. |
WhenILookAtTheStars chapter 1 . 7/18/2004 wow, i'm in awe, that was sorrowfully beautiful. I loved that immensely. It sort of made me want to cry. |
