I can actually see Ranma and his friends doing this. Messing with someone's memory in a way that can lead them to their death unnecessarily would not strike them as honorable.

In all honesty I don't think the writer really cared all that much about how much sense it made, only that it was funny. Which it was. It's left to various fanfic authors and fans to ponder the out there questions that the creators never bothered with and never wanted to address even if they found them.

Hmm, well, you're forgetting that the MiB is also responsible for making sure the planet isn't blown up, they monitor legitimate aliens, and their security is literally out of this world.

And of course, this doesn't take into account that they'd probably want to hire Ranma when he's able to take out 3 aliens by himself.

Good story, very short though

Short and brings up a vaild point. IT would been nice if it was a bit longer but there really wasn't much need in it. The MiB really do seem to do little more then keep the humans from noticing the Aliens. An alien goes on a rampage? It gets deported and all humans get mind wiped. No real evidence of them really punishing the alien with a mind wipe or anything. While they don't really show any humans dying in the movie, some those fights were rather destructive and in the real world you would imagine tons of innocents getting killed in thos scuffles. Not to mention the underground alien technolgy most humans don't know about, imagine rapist, murders or other people with the mind wipe technolgy? Not that much difference between the powers the MiB hold and any standard corrupt goverment rulling over the people type of movie.

Heh, i wouldnt mine you writting a short scene of what's happing when the small group of highly equipped martial artists that went to new york. Keep it is it just a oneshot?

Neat idea, but I think the story is marred by rushing through to get the idea across. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but on contemplation, I've decided it's a great way to send directino without having to spend more time on it. But the fic would be a lot more exciting if you spent a bit more time on the confrontation between Ranma and the police. Either describing the initial scuffle, or go into more detail about Ranma injuring her and trailing her back to base.

This gets its point across, but as is is almost purely an idea fic; a bit more could help it quite a bit on the storytelling side.

Love it. I hadn't really thought of the MIB (from the movies and cartoon based on them) like that. I basically like it because of the reaction to the mind-rape. Too often in fiction I see cases of mind-rape go unpunished... It is good to see those who commit it being punished.
