Wow, I mean, wow. This was an awesome story... really. I loved the description of the Universe and the Advent of Rachel (who pnwd's Car Hoods), who was a decidedly compelling character with a CABEL complex (Prosthetics and all) - without the trigger happiness and Big F*ING Gun (pardon the description). I loved her breakdown moment and the inclusion of the Astral Plane. Even with the lack of Ororo in the story, you managed to bring other characters like Jubilee, Kitty, Bobby and Rogue into the forefront without making them seem like extra characters to fill up writing space if you catch my meanin'.

I loved your characterizations of Mystique, Magneto, Xavier, Logan, Kurt, and Scott Summers (who I am so glad, wasn't a simpering mess of "mourning" like he's portrayed in most Post-X2 Fanfiction. I've got nothing against that characterization sometimes, but it gets tiresome [sometimes just from reading the summaries]).

Nice ending. Cute. Though I didn't like the fact that Rachel died, but I guess it had to happen, didn't it?

Overall an excellent story.

The ending was a bit lacking though. Where was the Pheonix? What about Gambit, what happened to him and Rouge? And what about Bobby?

I felt like I had been led through a long wonderful maze only to have the end cut off in front of me.

I really hope you plan on doing a sequel. I don't think I could handle it otherwise.

Great chapter! Nice ending, with most everything being resolved. I liked the twinkie bit with Scott and Hank the most.

Now, you left me intrigued about what the news from Cairo was? I imagine it could be a number of things, but hopefully you'll tell us in a future story.

Nice chapter, what with Wolverine getting shot in the head again, and Nightcrawler and Mystique having their moment. I really liked Magneto's offer to reshape Wolverine's skeleton, pretty wicked stuff. Anyways, can't wait to see how Rachel'll fare going into the mind of someone like Magneto...

Nice Nightcrawler/Sabretooth scene, dancing partners or not. So the truth is slowly coming out about Rachel's past/future, can't wait to see what other surprises she ends up revealing to them...

I must have missed an episode, I don't remenber Cyclops knowing for Rachel...

Cool stuff, especially with the Wolverine/Mystique fight, and with her showing her maternal 'nurturing' side. I also liked Rachel finally revealing the truth to her Dad too. Can't wait to see what's next...
