Wands, like brooms and flying cars, for example, are tools to help channel magic. And in Sixth year in the books, the students of Hogwarts learn nonverbal spell casting So I don't know if it's something specific to your fic (which is great) or an overlook of not exactly common knowledge, but I just thought I might point out this canonical inaccuracy, intentional or not |
