There is but one word for this: sad.

I loved it, but it gave me that deep bone empty feeling you get when you read somthing short and sad (you know what I'm talking about?), where you know the person (Hector) is denying himself of what he could have and Paris, to love and as truely/deeply as he seems to and not hear the words back, to be greeted with silence?

There's is only one word for this: sad.
