That was fantastic! I'm currently an emotional wreck, but hey. Also, truthfully the remus as a spy thing actually was pretty canon because in the prisoner of Azkaban, Sirius says directly to Remus, something along the lines of "Forgive me for believing it was you" so obviously at one point, Sirius did suspect Remus :)

This is an amazing story. Got me to cry non stop for the last 4 chapters. And also hopelessly wonder what my life became. GAH. Amazing. Congrats on making me cry. Even J.K. Rowling had a hard time to make me cry. But this, I was in tears after the first chapter and the last 4 as I said before. I'd like to see more James/Sirius BrOTPs out there in the world.

I just want to tell you that I love your story! You portrayed James and Sirius really well. I loved their bonding moments as well. And I also liked how the story was in James point of view. Thanks for sharing! Keep on writing.

you should be seriously proud of this story. The balance you achive here between the dark of world created here, and the intrinsic lightness of heart of your main characters is beautifully handled. It's very impressive particularly the vivid feeling of 'war' that you've created. it is rare in a story of this sort that the author manages to truly bring to life the feeling of out and out warfare. the grim gray hoplessness is really present and incredibly visceral. This is all to pale in comparison of course to the outstanding characterisation and depth of the relationships explored. Never before have i read an interpretation of either james, sirius, or lily that ring so true, particularly in regards to one another. Truly awed by this.

wow this story was amazing. one of the best fan fics ive read of the months leading to the betrayal. the characters were realistic. if it wasnt a fanfic i would of believed Jk wrote it herself great job

Although, I *do* wish the Sirius and Peter confrontation had been told.

This was a wonderful take on the last couple of years in James' life. It's not often you see a James PoV story (and he's on of my favorite characters, if not my favorite) and you wrote him wonderfully. I especially loved how he held Sirius' "leash" and the last chapter, where he "sic'd" Sirius on Peter. Wonderful job.

This story is so beautiful, I just thought I'd let you know how much I absolutely enjoyed it. Positively fantastic.
