So I was enjoying this story for a while, although I'm not happy with the way this chapter went at all (and I know it will probably never be finished but I'm amused to talk about it anyway). Serena in this chapter failed completely. Darien for all intents in purposes Kidnapped her and is keeping her prisoner (false imprisonment is a serious crime). If she didnt have a phone she could use to call the police (which seems likely) then her best bet would be to manipulate a situation where she could get access to one. Plus she doesn't have to go along with anything Darien says at all, since her entire plan was to forcefully take custody from him in the first place. I can't stand the way that all of a sudden hes controlling her like a puppet for no reason and acting as if everything that is to happen is his decision (hes comes off terribly in this chapter). That said, you will probably never update that so it doesn't really matter. Serena is trapped in limbo in her damsel in distress mode forever more.
