This was INCREDIBLE. I wish there was more :(

I was crying during the panel scene. It was so well thought out i was happy and sad at the same time! I guess that Senator must have been really shocked when he heard that Hellboy saved his own son, at least he had apologized and not let his pride get in the way. Loved that he ended up making Hellboy another 'Good Samaritan'! Haha!
Seriously, it still astounds me to no end how awesome this story gets with each chapter! *starts squeeing like a fangirl* On to the last chapter(s)! .

The last bit with the heart had me turning into a big pile of mush. It was so sweet and I swear I almost cried! It is funny to think of Hellboy as 'well-mannered', so cute.
You really do an amazing job on writing. It is just so incredible! On 2 read MOAR! :)

Wow. That is some great work! I have never imagined Red as a young man. It makes him really cute! I really love how you have thought this story out and i can see that real effort has been put into it.

Beautifully done. I thank you from the bottom of my heart what you've done for Hellboy Fandom. The story was beautifully written, exquisitely detailed, and damn near canonical, in my opinion. You did an excellent job creating a background story of the struggle that Professor Trevor went through, in his need to love and protect H.B. You had my eyes misting at the last chapter, you had me laughing at H.B.'s accomplishments(pummeling a cybernetic Adolf with its own leg. I will never be able to hear that, and not cackle madly. if only they had worked that into the movie somehow). And i cheered every single victory the professor made against a system that saw Hellboy as nothing more than a subject to test, and a future cadaver to vivisect and examine. again, i thank you for this work, it was truly an excellent story.

I salute you, Ms. Palladino.

This is, by far, the best, most thoughtful, most heartfelt fan fiction that I have ever read. You have expertly expressed the relationship ship between the Prof. and Hellboy, and have given fandom, as well as myself, a story that will stick for a while, and will, without a doubt, influence my writing.

It's so good, it's almost canon! :)

...I've read one Hellboy book and I have to say, not only is your English better, but I think you also capture Hellboy, Broom and all others better than that author did. I think I won't make this a favorite, but it's only because I fear I'd then fave all of your fics as I work through them. :) If this, and other works of yours, were a printed novel it would be one of my special treasures along with my Annotated Dragonlance Chronicles, Robin Hobb's Assassin books and the Lord of the Rings. I thank you for putting this up.

your storys are so fantastic. i only saw the hellboy movie, but you added depth to the characters. i hope you keep the storys going.

Fascinating!

From what I remember of the film - having seen it twice, though not recently - the characters are pretty much in character. Thats a nice change from a lot of the fics in most other fandoms, where out-of-character, sugar-high and random humour fics are common as lice!

Outstanding! You were able to capture the characters beautifully! The interaction between HB and Prof. Broom was wonderful. I look forward to your next venture.
