I like how this story goes into more depth with Harry’s grief over Sirius and the effects on him. It’s not something easy to brush aside or get over, especially with someone as close to him as his godfather.

I thoroughly enjoyed your story! It's well woven and intriguing. You made the characters three dimensional and worth caring about. I hope I find more!

Oh good lord, this is bloody fantastic! The plot is amazing, and not many grammatical errors, which make it fabulous. I love your portrayal of the HP characters after 5th year, and how everyone deals with what had happened. I've always wondered from the movie and the book how Harry dealt with the events at the Ministry, and how he was able to seem alright in the 6th book/movie. Your story put a unique touch on that thought. I thoroughly enjoyed this story with its Harry/Hermione pairing. I've always loved that pairing and thought it would seem the best in the end, but JKR's pairings of Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione didn't really click for me. I'm glad you made them deal with their new relationships with reason and maturity, not many fanfiction authors do that. Your story made my day. :) Saying this now in 2013, I really do wish that you could have either continued the current story or at least made a sequel to it. So many good authors never finish their stories and it upsets me. Although I say this, if you are unable to it's alright, but so many other readers would love to continue reading. Sorry for the long review, I just really wanted to put my complete thoughts into it for your story. Again, many thanks for such a wonderful tale.

I think I like the alternate version of chapter 16 better, I love me a angst story between Harry and Hermione. But I like the other version too

Awwww man I bloody love this story, if only the real story went along the lines of this (exactly the same as this but this wouldnt fill a whole Harry potter book). By far one of the best Fanfics I've ever read! In other fanfics none of them kept to the characters like you have done which makes a nice change. Deffo plan on reading this story over and over, if only you wrote more or done a sequel (sighs)

I never did understand if Hermione was older or younger then Harry and you made it perfectly clear what you think, I think she's older too, just something about it seems right (shrugs shoulders) anyway the little showdown between Snape and Harry was awesome!

Again you wrote Ron perfectly! And Harry pouring his soul out and letting some of his bottled emotions go was so heartfelt and emotional, I felt what he was feeling while reading. Brilliant stuff

The wat Ron reacted was spot on in my opinion, he told Hermione he fancied her ages ago which she said she didn't reciprocate the same feelings and that she loves someone else, so he's had a while to get use to that fact plus Ron said himself he's seen how they both loved each other without the other realising it. Great story

Good ending to the chapter, must read on so I can see how Ron reacts to Harry and Hermione's news and will he get together with Luna? a nice tender moment they shared

Best chapter so far! took a while but there finally where they deserve to be, with each other! It came so suddenly but wow you got there feelings and insecurities down perfectly

And so the seeds of doubt (about whether Harry likes Hermione more then a friend) have begun at last! Wonder what that dream was about... no idea lol
