This has been a very splendid story love the way described the count I absolutely love the way you write your story's and absolutely adore all of the dracula books and movies.

I loved this story and I love Christopher lee as Dracula :D I'm writing a fanfiction about Dracula too at the moment and out of all the fanfiction's I have red so far this one has made me smile so much :)

I've had this in my favourites for ages, and never reviewed. Remiss of me, it's an excellent fic. I've been on a Hammer binge this week, and suddenly remembered this story.

You've got Lee's Count down perfectly. The elegance, the air of just-restrained violence, and I especially liked the description of him in the first chapter - m yeah ;)

Elisa is well done, too. A strong woman, but then she would have to be. The whole thing topped off with subtle humour - your fics are fun to read.

I hope that sometime you'll consider writing another Dracula or Wicker Man fanfic, there isn't nearly enough on the 'net. And now I'm going to have to go and watch Taste The Blood of Dracula. Again.

Ah this is such a beautifully dark story. Your descriptions and dialogue flow perfectly. Although I believe that Bela Lugosi is the ultimate Dracula (I blame the accent - drol), I was very smitten by your Lee-inspired Count as well. I guess I'll have to watch his versions of Dracula again - it's been a while! Excellent work here, keep writing.

PS Did you know that young Italian boys sometimes express their sexual desire for women by blowing cigarette smoke IN their faces? At least, that's one thing I learned while studying in Italy for a few months. LOL And that was what crossed my mind during your erotic little apartment scene - just had to pass that on, in case you'd never heard that. You described Rome perfectly - and bonus points for using good Italian vocab!

This is some great writing! Yes, another Chris Lee fan reports in. They never made the right use of him. I hope there's more of this to come, the actual moondance. I want to see that world of the night you've teased us with.

One thing you might do: when you've got a scene with two people in it, you can can run the whole thing on "he" and "she." It's over-identifying to have to use the rather arch "the vampire" and "the woman" (especially when she has a name).
