Wow, excellent story! I have always wondered how the other two of Team YRP would feel about how everything fell into piece in the end - and here I have a believable possibility :-D

I like the thought that everyone of them were able to find some happiness and not only Yuna, so to see Rikku and Paine ending up stuck together is quite pleasing. Even if it is just very vague

Very good, I haven't written in a while and Paine's introspection hit me pretty good, though her monologues sometimes made me wonder if she was going to start breaking out the flow charts to her feelings and emotions, but I kid, I like the scene. It's sort of nice opening up a yuri fic expecting a cheap thrill and then being moved

I very much enjoyed this fic. I like the tentativeness of it so you really feel the lines being drawn between passions being held in and uncertainty.

w00t! More FFX-2 yuriness. Paine/Rikku is probably my favorite pairing from the game, because as this story shows so well they have such wonderful contrast with each other.

The characterization in this story is spot on. I think you've definitely kept Paine's actions like Paine while giving her the vulnerability underneath it.

And you made her a Virgo! Actually it fits quite well. (Umm... astrology nerd... moving on)

There were a few words that seemed to be misused, but the quality of the story is definitely worth overlooking a few mistakes.

Overall, if you can do something more with this Rikku/Paine relationship, please do. _

I reckon this is one of the best around, and you hadn't even plated the game when you wrote it! I think that gives it a new perspective rather than the tired old stuff people who've seen it all tend to give...

You should seriously consider continuing this fic! There aren't that many Paine/Rikku fanfics out there and the better ones (like yours) are seriously few and far between.

And thank goodness you acknowledged the fact that Yuna, literally, did get everything out of their TEAM'S hard work...as happy as I was for her and Tidus, you gotta give props to the two other women that helped.

There aren't many authors I know of that can capture the seriousness and humor behind shoujo-ai so well. Take a look at the Sailor Moon fanfics and you'll see what I mean.

I really hope you'll continue with this...it's got GREAT potential and, with your knack of characterization and 1st POV, it will be a GREAT multi-chapter story.
