Soooooo…i spent another few hours reading another one of your stories without even realizing it was yours and besides who needs sleep ;) ? This was so cute and i loved Elensar's spunkiness! Adrian is well, I was NOT a fan of him at first… AT ALL. But once he got over himself amd realized his love for Elensar he wasn' t so bad ;). I enjoyed reading this!

I just read for about an hour straight, and it was much, much more than worth it.
I. LOVE. THIS.
I'm afraid I'm not being very eloquent right now, but I love everything about this story! Well-perhaps it was a little rushed in the beginning, but aside from that...wow! Such an original plotline, complex characters, and lots of romance! (I'm a total romance pig XD)
First, I loved Elensar. Yes, she was torn-who wouldn't be, between family and love? She made bad decisions and got nervous and confused, just like a normal person! She's one of the most relatable characters I've ever read.
Second, King Adrian. A curious mix of rapscallion and good guy. He confused me and intrigued me at the same time, which is what a good character should do.
Third, EVADNE! Her character was the most complex of all, and I loved it! Not to mention Markus-he was a wonderful addition, and I love the part that he played!
I just hope to god that you continue to write, because if your other stories are half as good as this, they should probably be winning half a dozen medals.

Wow! This chapter was amazing-I could feel the vegetables dripping down her back. You have an incredible gift for description!

First of all, I would like to commend you on your beautiful use of language with just the right amount of cynicsm and dry humour. However, what bothered me was how rushed the romance between Adrian and Elensar was. How did they jump from loathing one another to being so called in love with just a few kisses? Elensar was also rather weak for a heroine that was supposedly brave and outrageous. On the other hand, I liked the portrayal of Evadne. She is a strong (alright, bitchy) woman who actually knows what she wants which is pretty much power i believe and is ready to do anything to get it. Undoubtedly, she has flaws but also redeemable qualities. All in all, not a bad story but it could have been much better considering you are skilled at writing.

I hate elensar. She's spoiled, whiny and is nothing but a brainless, ditzy dolt. She STILL falls for the extremely sinful, cruel King Adrian's charms, even though she knows that he the epitome of Evil. He could have gotten her out of the stocks if he wanted to, since he is above law. But he didn't. This proves to her that she is nothing but entertainment to him, and should have kept her away from him. However, it done just the opposite. She continues to be attracted to him, even though she could have very simply stopped it. A better plan would have made her escaped back home more possible, or better yet, she could have seduced the Pig of a King. She has neither wit nor brains. Your story could have been better with a more cunning heroine and a more realistic romance.

I really do not know how to express my gratitude toward you for creating this lovely, lovely story. I have enjoyed each chapter and spent long nights reading it. It's taken me a while, but I have finally yet unfortunately made it to the end of this great tale and I thank you much for the read! :)

I love this story! I'm trying to get better with my reviewing and I though this was a better place than any to start. I cannot tell you how many times i have read this story over the past few years, if this in book form the spine would be broken the pages all dog eared and it would be well and truly time for me to buy a new copy!

Its a story that I re-read at least twice a year, amazingly written and I just love the spin you put on the story. It may be based on a fairytale but you made into something new

Omg I am head over heels over this story! its got to be one of the best on here. This is actually my second time reading the whole thing and then I realised I hadn't left a much-deserved review.

The end scene was cute, Adrian, sigh, you've created one swoon-worthy hero. The plot was fantastic, though I still say I'm a little confused about the romance, which is awesome (and spicy!) anyway. Ever thought of a sequel or a story of the like? I"d love more of the hate and love plus fantasy stories, they're way too few of them. Thanks for the fantastic read, I had heaps of fun in the hols reading it up, twice!

ooh enjoying the story so far, only Adrian, well, how did Elensar suddenly start going on about loving him? I know he's dreamy lol, but she didn't even like him. And Adrian, wow, real good-looking but, err isn't he a bit er.. lusty?
