lol, I LOVED the ending. “Was it just you and Shippo out there by the springs?”

“Yeah, it was just us. Why?” he asked.

“I was wondering who put these flowers and braids in your hair.”

His eyes widened with shock as he felt the offending ornaments. “Damn Sesshomaru!” he cursed, ignoring the look of curiosity on Kagome’s face. Inu-Yasha thought about explaining, but decided against it. Who would ever believe him?

Aw,That was so sweet! I loved how InuYasha was actually kinda nice to Shippo and how Sesshoumaru isn't really the bad guy much anymore, like in most people's stories.

Especially since I've had the feeling that Sess really does care for Inu in some off-handed way. Especially since he took up with Rin...

The story he told, of the water youkai and the dragon, that too was well-thought out and wonderfully executed.

It was really nice to be able to have Sess finish the story as it applies to both Inu and Kagome as well as Sess and Rin. To have Sess admit to having fears... might be considered to be OOC (I liked it don't get me wrong) but Rin braiding flowers into Inu's hair is right on target.

Overall, well done. This is a very easy to read writing style.

Very sweet, when a story can make a person feel giddy with empathy you know its a good one. This one brought tears to my eyes. Keep em coming.

That's fantastic, it's beautiful. I'm sorry you were sick, but at least you got something good out of it!

A good story. I really liked your take on Sesshoumaru in this. I mean one wonders how long he was watching Inuyasha to realize he wanted to hear the end of the story (which by the way was the coolest story).

This was such a cute one-shot. I loved the interaction between the brothers, and between Shippo and Inuyasha. It's nice to see that even if they quarrel like crazy, when things get really bad they can count on eachother. Anyway, this was a really great story and I'm kind of wishing you had a sequal to it. I would love to see what happened between Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru the next time they ran into eachother considering Sesshoumaru let Rin braid flowers into Inuyasha's hair.

What an absolutely wonderful one-shot! I loved it and you wrote so beautifully that I could actually picture and hear the characters in my mind. Good job! :D

AMAZING STORY. I loved it! It was so moving. So Emotional. That Inuyasha took care of Shippo was so sweet. Also, that Sesshoumaru showed up not to kill him but to finish the story he started when they were younger. And that Rin was involved was adorible. I was starting to think that the who conversation with Sesshoumaru was a dream but that ending, with the braids and flowers, was priceless! _ Thanks for the wonderful story!
