I really enjoyed this, it was really good. There need to be more stories about Magus and Princess Katherine. I sort of wish there was another chapter or two, but it's great as a oneshot. :)

I hadn't thought about 'Gargoyles' in years, then someone mentioned the show the other day... This is the first time I've scanned the fan fiction for it, and what a delight to find this story off the bat.

This is beautifully written - the descriptive quality is outstanding. I could see those dark halls and fire-lit chambers. Though its been a very long time since the show has aired here, I do remember the magus. For a supporting character, he made quite an impression, leaving one with the idea that his personal history would be a tale worth telling. You've done an admirable job of doing just that.

I've been waiting for a story dealing with the Mangus I could really believe in. His story is so tragic one hopes that those that survive him remember his story. This was a wonderfully written story, I hope there are more about him and his past.
