Guest chapter 1 . 10/20/2005 Corruption bore the name of Sands, that sounds about right...I love the idea of him driving back and forth over the border, just because they told him not to, and because he could. That sounds very much something Sands would have done...and also like a stroppy teenager, 'I can do anything I want, and if you tell me not to do something, than fuck you, I'll do it anyway' kinda thing, so yes, it most definately has the air of Sands around it! i like it, good imagery. |
Neon Daisies chapter 1 . 9/21/2005 Poor guy. Wanted Alaska and got Mexico. /They named him numerous names, gave him a gun, advanced pay, and orders not to leave the country.\ - Talk about unleashing a monster. /Because he could. Because three all-cap letters on a laminated plastic square and the mention of "federal officer" told him so.\ - an authority figure that has problems with authority figures. Go figure. :P /He wrote it down on a bar napkin and stuck it in his pocket like it actually meant something.\ - sounds like how I write. And those last two paragraphs... I mean, the entire thing was beautiful, but those last two were equisite. I love it. |
BadNew chapter 1 . 7/24/2004 Love, love, love, love, love (ten minutes later), love, love your mini-series. It's THE BEST when you're talking about Sands, man. You totally hit the nail on the head. Great job! |
Hypokritika chapter 1 . 6/9/2004 Whoa. Your Sands was perfect, IMHO. The bitterness and arrogance and abrasive... Sands-ness just pulls you under and drowns you in vitriol. Yummy. |
cbeth88 chapter 1 . 6/3/2004 Great mini-series! I love the way you write. All the fragments were perfect. Short, sweet, and to the point. Kinda like Sands when ya think about it. |
